Has anyone had any issues with their new campers and the generators in their campers? Brand new 2022 Keystone fusion camper literally seems to be falling apart and we can’t just stop our lives and take it to a dealer every time something falls apart on it.. has anyone had issues with newer campers falling apart? And what have you found to help you? Keystone doesn’t want to replace our camper and I feel like all these warranties are not worth anything….But a head ache 😣 Please I need some knowledgeable people here to tell me any solutions that have worked in the past or will work. I just feel like at a lost. we over paid way too much money on a #covidcamper and generator to not be feasible to live in and work properly. For an example, we’ve literally been living in our room in the RV with the slide rolled in because the slide broke on us over a month ago almost . And we are living this way crawling over the bed just to get stuff out of our closet. It’s literally ridiculous. And we feel at a lost. Also, just sent the generator off before our trip to Alabama to be fixed after putting almost a gram into it to find out it was the control panel inside the generator and now literally have had it back for a week or two and it’s throwing a new code, and not working, right Right before we go on our trip to Texas 😔

The sewer vent pipe is a good place to mount the medicine cabinet right? This is the first full-service RV park we've paid for. Apart from bring-your-own-potable-water, I have to say, it's setting the standard pretty high. (We drove by and took a look and said "looks expensive". Boy were we wrong, it was 20p/U$1 less per night than the last campsite, and that was only a dirt patch by the river.) ATTENTION CAMPERS!!! A Fed Bear is a Dead Bear Pictured here is a black bear mama who was trapped in Helen, GA. Thankfully, females are relocated; however, this particular mama still had a cub with her who was not trapped. It is now on its own. Every day as part of our #camphost job we get to educate campers about the dangers of leaving food, trash, and coolers out. It is mostly dangerous for the bears, who are highly food motivated. They learn quickly that people have food and coolers are awesome. This brings them into campgrounds and populated areas, which increases the danger of a bear interaction. Bears are not usually aggressive, but they will defend a food source and mamas will defend their cubs. The easiest and safest way to avoid bear interactions is to lock up food and properly dispose of trash. If you are camping and see "Bear Aware" signs, bear trash cans, or you are warned about bears, take it seriously. We are in their space and they should not have to suffer our entitled behavior. Even a cooler full of ice waters will draw a bear to your campsite. Lock it in your car or truck at night or utilize bear lockers at the campground. Hiking with the doggie. I took Misha with me to one of the slot canyons (she was allowed there) but she had a little trouble. Let's face it, dogs have 4 legs so they can run and walk a lot and fast but they can't climb up like we can. Or pull themselves up. It was ok since we couldn't get in too far anyways. . I know I mentioned I love hiking in these canyons, there's so much geological history right in front of you. I'm already planning on going back in 2 months. I did that last year, I was going to take my rv but it was stolen and the insurance company promised a new one. Then that fell through and they paid it off instead so I was without a trailer. That was a bummer. . So I went with my tent and that trip was a disaster. The desert in northern Arizona and Utah in the summer are not the best idea, dry, hot and super windy. At least not with a tent. It was so bad that instead of 5 weeks I came home in 5 days. Needless to say that turned out to be a bad trip. . The planning was good and now will be even better but with the trailer it will be a perfect trip. The winds won't matter and I'll have running water. Yeay! . Did you plan your summer yet? I love hiking in canyons. They're so unique but the hike is usually not even hard. You can just keep going and going and take in the views and keep breathing. Here, I was trying to find the beginning of a canyon so I can walk out to the Colorado river. After 45 minutes the path came to an end, to a complete drop so deep I couldn't even see the bottom. That opening is behind me, probably 50 stories deep. At least. But I'm determined to find it. I still have time. Arizona is the land of many beautiful things. . Misha is having a great time. Did you know a year ago this was our last normal week and we didn't know it? I remember Friday morning at school watching the news updates on my phone how school after school was closing and I told my colleagues, "I guarantee you we will close" I was right but they never got to tell me after because I hardly ever saw them since. That Friday evening I was sitting at a car dealership trading in my old truck and getting this big one and got the phone call that our school has closed. I didn't realize that I would be working from home for an entire year with its positives but also negatives . And then just everything sort of happened. Not even 2 weeks after my Oso doggie got sick and died. That was the biggest loss during this whole time. A few days later I discovered my trailer was stolen. We had plans, my mom who lives in Hungary was going to come visit and we'd go travel to several states in the summer. Now, she couldn't come, no trailer and no doggie. . However, I am incredibly lucky, because I haven't suffered any other losses - all my family members are safe, I kept my job and kept working. . And now on the 1 year anniversary my school will announce that we are reopening after spring break!! I'm super happy! . I chose this picture because it was taken at Lake Powell last spring break. A place where I went and tremendously enjoyed (and started healing after the doggie died), and I was still able to do even with all the closures. It also represents (to me) the chaos: when my school found out I left the area I had isolate myself for 2 weeks, either work from home or go to work after everyone else. It was crazy. It also reminds me, that luckily I was still enjoy the outdoors. Even though they tried to take it from us by closing campgrounds I was still able to do what I wanted. It has been a crazy year!! To be clear, we by no means hate it and we still intend to travel when we can, but the reality of it is not the same as the Insta highlight reel suggests. 😂 Don’t get me wrong, you put your heart and soul into building a home on wheels and you want to show it off with pretty pictures of the build and all the adventures you go on, we do it and it’s fun! But it’s not always accurate 😅 For us, moving into the van wasn’t our maiden voyage into travel, it’s been days of hard, muddy, sweaty work planting trees in winter in Scotland, nowhere to dry clothes, and nowhere to go because of Covid! We’ve had a few tough days, some arguments, crying, and wanting to give up. We’ve decided to keep our chins up and carry on, looking towards summer when our country opens up again and we can drive to see more of it. I think it’s been an experience everyone should try, even if it’s just about getting out of your comfort zone. I’d just urge anyone thinking about it not to be romanced by social media, and to know what they’re getting themselves in for 😆 After reality hit us in the face, it gave us the chance to feel really grateful for this opportunity, the adventure, challenge and all the things we’re learning along the way. Some of the RVers drive to the Walmart in the next town, but here at this tienda-type place on the main road, 15 pesos (~U$1.50) fills our Coleman 5 -- and the friendly staff even carry it out to our vehicle.
