It took is 2 days to get here (about 14 hours tossing the RV) but we're here! This is public land near Marble Canton, AZ. Behind me is the Colorado river, flowing slowly, deep down in the canyon. Gorgeous views all around . I came here a year ago, after my Oso doggie died I said I had to get away to a place I haven't gone to and hike so much so that I can't think anymore. So I came here with Misha with a tent (since my trailer was stolen) and aside from the sadness it was a wonderful trip. We spent 3-4 nights ?it was my spring break), and it wasn't rushed. That's what made it amazing. . So now it's spring break and I came with the RV for 9 days total, bit that I caused travel time as well. . After we got here we took a little walk and found my tent site from last year. I remembered exactly where it was and saw some of the burnt wood. Not many people tent camp here. It's very windy. . I'm very excited because this time I also brought my kayak and there are a few areas around here i want to explore. . By the way, I've I mentioned disperse camping is my favorite? I cannot really stand campsites with people because then my dog has to be in a leash. And I really can't stand RV parks where your neighbor is 5 feet away. I was already doing it with my tents, this to me is luxurious living. I really do have everything I gave at home. I always thought growing up I’d steal my sisters clothes or have to fend her off mine.. nope! Did you know a year ago this was our last normal week and we didn't know it? I remember Friday morning at school watching the news updates on my phone how school after school was closing and I told my colleagues, "I guarantee you we will close" I was right but they never got to tell me after because I hardly ever saw them since. That Friday evening I was sitting at a car dealership trading in my old truck and getting this big one and got the phone call that our school has closed. I didn't realize that I would be working from home for an entire year with its positives but also negatives . And then just everything sort of happened. Not even 2 weeks after my Oso doggie got sick and died. That was the biggest loss during this whole time. A few days later I discovered my trailer was stolen. We had plans, my mom who lives in Hungary was going to come visit and we'd go travel to several states in the summer. Now, she couldn't come, no trailer and no doggie. . However, I am incredibly lucky, because I haven't suffered any other losses - all my family members are safe, I kept my job and kept working. . And now on the 1 year anniversary my school will announce that we are reopening after spring break!! I'm super happy! . I chose this picture because it was taken at Lake Powell last spring break. A place where I went and tremendously enjoyed (and started healing after the doggie died), and I was still able to do even with all the closures. It also represents (to me) the chaos: when my school found out I left the area I had isolate myself for 2 weeks, either work from home or go to work after everyone else. It was crazy. It also reminds me, that luckily I was still enjoy the outdoors. Even though they tried to take it from us by closing campgrounds I was still able to do what I wanted. It has been a crazy year!! On top of it, all this closure, all these restrictions and the virus is still here, . How has it affected you? I just wanted to share a bit of info on the curler I have been using as I’ve received a few questions and my post won’t disappear like a story does 🙈🙈 . I did share a reel the other week with how I used it (I did a super curly look) Don’t worry the curler comes with a pamphlet so if any of my ramblings don’t make sense you will be ok! @wylerahair are much better at explaining than me 😂 the @wylerahair Instagram page also has a bunch of tutorials and the results on all types of hair. Seriously though, you just grab a small section of hair, place it in front of the opening, hold down the button until it beeps and stops spinning. It will then beep again after 8/10/12 seconds depending on how long you set it for. I only do it for 8 seconds as I am wayyy too impatient to wait 😂😂 then you can either leave in the tight curl or brush it out like I did in this photo (: this photo was also taken at the end of the day, I had done my hair early in the morning and the curl was still holding without any product (this might be due to my damaged hair from the bleach but just thought I’d share). One thing I would recommend remembering is that you want the barrel to turn left for the right side of your face and right for the left side of your face so that the curl sits away from your face 😊😊 sorry that was a lot of face 😂😂 if you have any more questions just let me know!! . Please don’t swipe 😭😭😭 I never share random selfies before my skincare regime for a reason!! . Review time ladies 😊😊😊 ~ Skora Skincare ~ . If you keep up with my stories (I know you all have lives so don’t stress, I saved it to my highlights 😉) . I started using Indigene Moisturiser and Brighten and Revive Serum from @theskorashop two weeks ago - I have definitely noticed a difference from the brighten and revive. My skin is a bit brighter and it has helped even out my skin tone, (I would like to add I am mid period for the after photo and yet my skin is looking nicer than the before photo) - which NEVER happens! I would definitely need to use the products for longer for it to be more noticeable, but for only using them for two weeks I am really happy with the results. The Moisturiser isn’t oily and leaves my skin feeling nice without any reaction so I am happily still using both products, and will continue to do so😊 I definitely would recommend using more products in conjunction with these to complete your skincare regime. I would recommend also using; Hyaluronic serum, blemish remover, clay mask and a good cleanser (: . So overall I am happy with products, they are lasting well and I have noticed results 😊 . But no complaints from me; still no symptoms here (aaaargh, I promised I wouldn't jinx it!).
