En tunna innehållande grönt, kemiskt avfall trillar av en lastbil, rullar nedför en slänt och plumsar ner i ett vattendrag, där den sen flyter vidare in i skogen. En tid senare anländer ett gäng ungdomar till en stuga just ute i skogen, och det dröjer inte länge innan bikinina åker på och det vankas bad. Men vad är det för konstigt grönt gojs borta vid bävrarnas tillhåll? Ja, vad fan ska en säga om "Zombeavers" egentligen? Den följde med i en av alla de där pappkassarna med film jag fick överta häromsistens. Tänkte att fan, en film om zombiebävrar? Exakt hur kan en sån egentligen bli? Det visade sig att svaret var, ungefär precis vad en tänker sig att en sån typ av film är. Pajigt, roligt, slafsigt och fan... rätt underhållande ändå. Filmen vet ju vad den är, och det känns, hur horribla en del av skådespelarna än är, som att alla inblandade ändå hade väldigt kul när de gjorde denna. Och en stor eloge för de praktiska bäverdockorna, och att vi slapp fula CGI-diton! Kul film!

Zombeavers (2014) Toxic waste-infected beavers wreak havoc on the lake when a group of horny teens meet up for the weekend at one of their cousin's cabin. Soon, they're gnawing the phone lines out, popping out of the floor like a Wack-A-Mole game and turning people into zombified were-beavers! . Funnier in 77 minutes than ALL of the #Sharknado films combined, #Zombeavers is a sterling example of hybrid-animal/disaster flicks done RIGHT, with jokes that actually land, hilariously "bad" practical effects beavers, a sly sense of satire and a cast that's all-in on the joke and more than happy to dive head-first into the ridiculousness of it all. . #RachelMelvin, #CortneyPalm and #LexiAtkins are hilarious, each playing into their respective archetypes, while #HutchDano, #JakeWeary and #PeterGilroy play the clichéd, horny jocks there for the beavers to make short work of, with Gilroy stealing most of the bigger laughs.
