NEW Salsa course for beginners β¨οΈ Sessions will take place on Wednesdays 8:30-9:30pm. There will be a chance for you to practice till 10pm if you wanted to stay behind and get to know people a little better. There's no Butterfly Soup on Monday as we're taking a break for Bank Holiday, but on the following week we have a special two-hour-long session with Cai Tomos! Dancing alone and together is a hopeful act, one full of small and ordinary transformations, that can sustain us as we go about our days. This little workshop is about that. The pleasure of following what feels good, the pleasure of renewing ourselves, and the simple joy of dancing with our fellow humans. Cai Tomos is an Independent Dance artist, Art Psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. He has worked both nationally and internationally as a dancer and maker. He lives in Rural Mid Wales. His practice spans from dancing and making, to facilitating arts and health work with adults both in hospitals and in theatre settings. Our wonderful RAD Pre-Primary in Dance Ballet Students exploring the hardness of a pointe shoe for the first time. The students were surprised just how hard the shoes were. We looked in the anatomy book so they could gain a further understanding of the bones within the feet so we could focus on the correct articulation when pointing and flexing for their legs and feet exercise. There was such a big improvement to the exercise from what they had performed before looking at the pointe shoes as they now had a clearer understanding of the need to imagine their feet to push through something such as a soft toy or squishmallow, Miss Danielles continued training with the Philip Cutts School of Dance and Sports Medicine enables her to provide students with a dance education informed by anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and neurodynamics. Creating a safe training environment for all of her students, in turn improving their performance in exams and on stage. I never put much or what I'm doing with my photography on this page so here goes. I am available over the next month or so for physique and fitness photography if there is anyone in South Wales looking for new images for there social media etc. You don't have to feel like you'te a model. I've worked with plenty of beginners over the years who have gone on to love having there picture taken.
