This is my birthday week and I started celebrating as of last night. A 2 night stay in Sandusky to spend the day at Cedar Point. Back in high school Chris and I loved going to Six Flags Magic Mountain, Knotts Berry Farm, and Disneyland. Now that I’m able to walk again without any pain, he asked me if that would be something I would want to do. I was a little hesitant at first because I’ve been conditioned for so long with pain in my knees and foot that I always hesitate when any kind of walking long distances is involved. The more I thought about it the more excited I got and told him let’s do it. Not only did I walk 7.19 miles today, but we rode every single roller coaster that was open except Raptor. I had a blast, & my knees and foot did not hurt. I did learn that we will never go to an amusement park without getting the fast pass. I learned that I like the coasters with a full backrest that go all the way up where I can lean my head back. The coasters with the low back rest seemed to be more jerky and at higher risk of getting whiplash and/or a concussion. Taking it back to 1989-1990’s. When airbrush art was a thing! I’m sorry to say I missed the big pig, it was too dark on the way back and I’ve never regretted anything more.
