#tranformationtuesday Throwback to when my off season began roughly 34 weeks ago, sitting 173.8lbs all the way to last Thursday weighing in at 194.2lbs a total slow but steady gain of 20.4lbs. Why have I taken such a long off season? Because I don’t just want to do well at my next show, I want to dominate it, allow yourself time to grow, give yourself a proper growth season, your body and mind will thank you. Also understand for most people you will gain some amount of fluff during the off season, I am still happy with how well my conditioning has held for being in a 8.5 month bulk. #MotivationMonday In Bodybuilding it can be so easy to focus on where you want to be than where you are right now. You may look amazing in reality but in your own head “you’re not good enough yet.” Allow yourself to appreciate the small victories, look back at how far you’ve come and smile because while you still have goals to accomplish to can still appreciate how much you’ve done, stop over thinking it, this is a journey, you get out of it exactly what you put into it, it’s you vs you, appreciate how great you look or feel right now and at the same time realize how much better you can do, it takes years to build a bodybuilding physique. I look back at my early days when I called myself a bodybuilder and to my last prep and I cannot wait for the next time I step on stage because i am finally starting to FEEL like a bodybuilder. We came out with a second-place win and a shout to @vanillagorilla.jr for taking home first place. Great job, man! We both worked our asses off, which can it a great warm-up when we both head to nationals competing in our respective classes. Huge shout to my teammate @matrix_bbuilding for bringing home 1st place in his class and for @ksweetbear with two hardware of her own! They will prepare for a hard battle this weekend at the Masters USA @musclecontest. Thank you to the @martinispraytan team and Jae for the best tanning service every year; you guys are the best!!
