Hi friends! I hope all of you are having a terrific Tuesday. My dayโs been ok ๐ธToday I used my #soulcatstarot and drew The Tower reversed. I just love this image of the cat knocking the lamp off the table, too bad its reversed so you canโt see it as well ๐ This card can indicate that itโs a good idea to put off big changes until youโre sure you are absolutely ready. On the other hand, it can mean that you are preparing for a big shift. You are reconnecting with your drive and are building power. You may be feeling stagnant. This is also a card of avoiding disaster. Internal transformations may also be happening. My guidebook said that with respect to my career, I will come out stronger in the end. This card echoes that one reading I received โ wait to switch jobs! That may be the disaster I am avoiding. I like the reassurance that I will come out stronger in the end for sticking with this job. The big shift going on may be my quitting vaping journey, itโs been difficult and Iโve already given in several times but Iโm continuing on. I definitely feel like Iโm reconnecting with my drive. Hi all! Yesterday I had to take the day off due to illness. Iโm happy to be back ๐ธ Today I used my beautiful #soulcatstarot deck and drew a reversed Nine of Pentacles. Yes, another reversed card ๐ I was surprised when I looked up meanings, it wasnโt all negative. I mostly resonated with the following โ this card can indicate that it is important you plan time for self care. Usually when I come home from work I unwind in front of the TV, but I need to start planning more time for me. The card can also indicate that you donโt think highly of yourself, which is definitely true ๐ Something that helps me find my value is this page, I appreciate that so many of you seem to enjoy it! Lastly, this line from my Tarot and Astrology Handbook stood out to me โ โReconnecting with your beauty and styleโ. Hi all! Iโm posting a bit late as I spent the evening at the gym today. Today I used my #soulcatstarot deck and drew a reversed Knight of Pentacles. For those who are new to tarot, the pentacles represent the element of earth and indicate matters concerning the material world, as well as oneโs self. Reversed cards always stress me out haha. And court cards are something I want to get better at reading โ Iโve heard they can represent people in oneโs life. For now though, I see this card pull as a reflection of my life at work lately. One of my reference books says that this pull can indicate boredom, which I have definitely been feeling at my job. As a result, Iโve felt slow and complacent. The circle of Life and Death seems to be the main focus of this card. Itโs a kill or be killed situation (or in this case be eaten) and while thatโs not very good for the mouse, it does serve a purpose, since itโs feeding the cat. This spread was in the guide booklet and I figured, what better way to start off the new year than using a new deck? Theme of the Month: the Moon Fluctuations, lack of clarity, facing subconscious fears, disillusionment, developing psychic abilities, release of fear, trust intuition, awareness, introspection Figuring out what to do the first month in a new year is hard. I want to start it off "right", but unfortunately "right" is subjective. The best I can hope for is not getting so caught up in a subjective term that I wind up with choice paralysis. With the New Year coming up, I decided to see what my Major Arcana card for 2024 would be. To figure it out, you add your birth month to your birth day and the year 2024, then simplify until you get a number matching a Major card. For me, that was 08 + 18 + 2024, which equals 2050, which simplifies to 2+5 which equals 7, the Chariot. The Chariot represents self control, self discipline, confidence, optimism, having a sense of direction, development of a personality, an ego mask, success, and reminds us to not give up on your goals. The Chariot is ruled by Cancer, which is a cardinal water sign and represents sincerity, determination, passions, and is ruled by the Moon, heavily influencing one's psychic potential. During this year, one can expect to learn about the persona they put on display for others, emotional reactions they might be hiding, and contradictions and tensions they may be struggling to maintain control over.
