It is with deep sorrow to share that after three months of fight, my sweet, kind, loving father passed away last night. 🥲💔 I'm so thankful to have had him in my life for as long as I have and that I got a chance to see him last month. I will remember our talks, his endless joy in telling stories, the quirks that made him unique and us love him even more, and the love he had for his family. I'm grateful he was my father. And while I sit here with my endless thoughts of him, I take comfort in knowing that he is finally out of pain and once again able to take my mother's hand, embrace her, and continue their dance. In a few days it will be 6 yrs ago I lost my beautiful Violet. I will NEVER forget her. Often, I blame myself, I should have fixed the holes in the yard better so she couldn't get out, I should have walked her more that day. In the end she got out of the fence and was hit by a car. I'd like to share some news that's upsetting to me. Recently, one of my favourite comedians Sean Lock passed away from cancer. He was 58 and died on 16th August. Every time I see Sean Lock on the TV whether it be an old episode of 8 out of 10 cats, 8 out of 10 cats does countdown or old performance on Live at the Apollo; I just think to myself "I never knew. He was so brave to carry on while he was so ill" Sean you continued to make people laugh while you were so unwell and I find that amazing. This has just arrived in the post! In October I took part in a charity event to raise money for @sandscharity. This involved me walking 310,000 steps in memory of our daughter Maggie who was sadly stillborn in 2014. @sandscharity has helped me and my family massively over the past few years particularly in the early days when it was really difficult to carry on with life.
