So remember to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. - Your worship hits different when you know who you’re worshipping. When you truly understand that the one you’re worshipping is the one who made the heaven and the earth, it will show in how you give yourself to God in worship. - The greatest way to overcome is to remember that you have overcome. 𝓦𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓗𝓮𝓭𝓰𝓮 𝓘𝓼 𝓑𝓻𝓸𝓴𝓮𝓷 ICS Daily Devotions God builds a hedge of protection around His people because He is a loving and faithful God who watches over His covenant people. The devil cannot attack us if the hedge is intact, but if the devil finds a gap in the hedge, he can attack individuals through it. 1 Peter 5:8 describes the devil as a roaring lion who prowls around looking for someone devour, but the Book of Job reveals that he could not make any inroads into attacking Job because God had made a hedge of protection around Job, his family, and his possessions. Because God is the one who had blessed the work of Job’s hand, He was also protecting what Job had, and He was pleased with Job, describing him as a blameless and upright man, who feared God and shunned evil. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for his wife and children with respect to their lifestyles and walks before God, so the gap or the hole in the fence was found in the lives of Job’s children and his wife, who eventually died. CHRIST HAS ASCENDED — AND WE WITH HIM Forty days after our Lord Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, and in the fullness of his humanity and his divinity, he ascended into heaven. Paul speaks of this in the wonderful prayer he makes for the Church in Ephesians 1: that we may know the wonderful anticipation to which God has called us, that we may know the riches of the glorious inheritance God has in us, and that we may know the unfathomable greatness of his power for us. He tells, here and elsewhere, about that great power, and we see the glory of our Ascended Lord Jesus: That Same Power, The Mighty Strength God exercised when He Raised Christ from the dead And seated him at the Right hand of the Father In the heavenly realms, Far above all rule, Far above all authority, Far above all power, Far above all dominion, Far above every name— The Name above All Names. God has placed All Things under his feet And given him to the Church To be head over All Things In Heaven and on Earth, To the Church, Which is His Body, The Fullness of Him Who Fills All Things Everywhere. Through the Incarnation, Christ united divinity with humanity, God with humankind, and became Human Being, of which we all partake and by which we are all now defined. Because of the Incarnation, the death of Christ has become our death, too. The resurrection of Christ has become our resurrection, too. And the ascension of Christ has become our ascension, too, the ascension of All Humankind. Only a few verses later, in Ephesians 2:6, Paul declares, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” Christ has ascended into heaven, and we have ascended with him. Because the people in the opening passage were evil and far away from God, God commanded Ezekiel to prophesy against the sin of Jerusalem declaring that He had no choice but to judge the land. However, because He loves us and longs to show us mercy, He sought for a man to stand in the gap on behalf of Jerusalem—someone to stand between Him and the people of the land to plead on behalf of the people, which would cause Him to be merciful towards them. Standing in the gap is the metaphor for committed intercession. The intercessor’s role is to try and repair the gaps or breaches in a wall. Today's Gods Word *Trials and rewards* "In general, exams are conducted to qualify us. The toughest exam is IAS or IPS; not everyone can clear it. The people who do clear this exam will have huge respect in society. It's not easy; they should study at least 14 hours a day and sacrifice a lot of things to be in that position. Similarly, in spirituality, we need to go through trials, but the assurance in trials is that God will be with us. It's not easy without praying; the great men of God prayed for hours, and this helped them to stand in hard times. God will be so close to them; He speaks to them. Even in the Bible, we see that He appeared to Abraham and Moses. In trials, you will be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, which gives you victory in battle. One of the great men of God wrote in a book that there are three heavens: the first heaven is for those who are saved and have not done any work for God; the second heaven is for the people who worked for God, and the place is so glorious; and the third heaven is for the people who walked with God. In the Scriptures, it is written that Abraham walked with God, Noah walked with God, and this place is unimaginable. The greater the trials you go through, the greater will be the reward.
