Jan 14: The Pull Towards the Light
As the days slowly get longer, my draw to the seeds gets stronger.
Waaay too early to start annuals, but many perennials have been started, including a whole bunch of tradish Secwepémc foods and medicines (last photo).
One thing is for certain, the ‘recommended’ life span of a seed is something I challenge every year.
This may be Pellkwet’mín (stay at home month), but my mind and soul are wandering to the stored potential of seeds and land.
