A fantastic couples getaway was just booked for the F family! Having some dedicated time alone for ‘mom & dad’ is so important, and spending that time in the beautiful state of Wyoming sounds pretty perfect!🏔️ They will be flying Delta into the Jackson airport, picking up their Enterprise rental car and staying in the gorgeous Cloudveil Hotel by Marriott in downtown Jackson - complete with in-room fireplace🔥 During their visit they will explore the town of Jackson, Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. We even booked a private all day tour with Obsidian Expeditions to explore Yellowstone with an expert. Grand Teton NP is one of my top 5 parks, and Yellowstone feels like an entirely different planet- both are bucket-list level places to visit. Erin is having an amazing time on board the Enchanted Princess this week! Their stop today was Belize City, Belize and they were able to experience a tender port for the first time! When the ports are too small for these huge cruise ships to dock, tender boats run guests to and from the port instead. For this stop, the Enchanted Princess set anchor 5 miles out from the city! This 2 level tender boat can hold 80-100 guests, there was no wait, and the ship left promptly on the half hour for its 20 minute trip to shore. While tendering can add time to your day, it’s almost an excursion unto itself as you enjoy the turquoise waters and wind in your hair! Have you ever had a tendered port? 3 years ago today we purchased our Dutch Star in Dallas and drove back in an ice storm to Tennessee! We took her all over the country staying in great Rv parks, amazing boondocking spots, and plenty of parking lots. Living full time we homeschooled, worked, played, hosted friends, spent holidays, celebrated birthdays, and just lived life within its walls. It was a wonderful home for 2 years! This chapter came to a close for us just a few days ago as we sold our very loved RV to a new family to continue their journey in.
