Ooooh these are BEAUTIFUL! I am so excited for Peony and Rose season. They are 2 of my favourite flowers. I love the big blousy blooms, the colours ranging from deep and rich to light and fairy like and the don't even get me started on the scent! These books by Jane Eastoe and @georgiannalane are perfect to plan and practise sketching with until my own have flowered. I use all my own dried roses in the mini baubles and I have 2 which I particularly love. Both are David Austin Roses and smell incredible - Lady of Megginch and Lady of Shallott. I do have others too but they aren't big enough yet to take the flowers. I love seeing the on the plant as much as in my home. Its all about balance. Are you Team Rose or Team Peony?
