The key to success in life is obedience to what God says. We see that here with Joshua and his successful campaign in conquering the Promised Land. We are told that ‘Joshua left nothing undone that God had commanded Moses’. In other words the key to Joshua’s success was in carry out everything he had been told to do by Moses. Joshua didn’t change anything, he didn’t modify anything, he didn’t neglect anything, he didn’t omit anything. Joshua obeyed everything Moses said to him to do, which was to do everything that God had laid out to Moses previously. Note the pattern: God told Moses who then told Joshua and Joshua obeyed. The end result of this is seen in Joshua 11:23 when it says that ‘Joshua took the whole land and gave it as an inheritance to the people, and then the land rested from war’. As a result of Joshua’s obedience he took the whole land, everything that God had promised Joshua took because he fully obeyed what God had commanded. Not only that but because of his obedience we are told that the land rested from war. There was still work to be done to subdue the land and to fully take control of it but because of his obedience God gave Joshua and the people peace and rest. 🙏🏽😊💙💛🏆📚 The last ignite youth conference was Saturday. After working extremely hard in the conference I received my third scholarship from the Jaguar Presidents at Southern University. I can tell you that God is preparing me for his calling in the industry. I thank him for my gifts, talents, and abilities to use for his kingdom! I loved everyone's speech, and I loved the dining, and I loved the atmosphere. I will continue to be a leader, an inspiration, and a unashamed believer in My Lord and Savior. I said in my speech that without God I wouldn't be here. With God helping me to work hard in my studies, and having a high GPA I received my third scholarship. I also touched on the subjects of the tragic events happening in Baton Rouge, and I pray that God protects each and every student, and teacher and staff at Southern University. We need more unity, and love. Mr. Davis who is one of the Jaguar Presidents said these amazing words in his speech. "Briana's mother I would like to thank you for raising such a humble, kind, strong, intelligent, and elegant young lady. I'm proud of her accomplishments, and I love that she loves the Lord with all of her heart. Even with the attacks she faced she's still here standing up with the confidence and boldness that God blessed her with. Congratulations sweetheart. We're proud of you."
