With the base built and the shelves assembled, it was time for a countertop and backing for the shelves. I used plywood for the counter, finished with trim and painted. Sadly, in my haste, I transposed some figures when ordering the wood, so I had 2 seams instead of 1. Read about it on the blog, and tell me what you think of the progress. Jag blev sugen på några ljusstakar i pastell. Lite ojämna, kantstötta och ruffiga men precis som jag ville ha dem. Söta nu i sommar, men även till jul om jag byter färg på ljusen. Jag använde mig av spillbitar som jag fick gratis från brädgården, så det enda jag köpte var ljushylsorna från @panduroofficial och sprayfärgen från @skapamer. Ljusstake Material: Spillbitar av trä, en såg, en slipmaskin med ­tillhörande slippapper, en syl, ljushylsor, en borrmaskin, en centrumborr i passande storlek till dina hylsor och sprayfärg. GÖR SÅ HÄR 1. Kapa dina bitar till ljusstakar i lagom höjd. Mät ut mitten på ljusstakarnas ovansida och markera ett hål med en syl. Kapa lite från sidorna och hörnen av kuberna, så de blir lite charmigt ojämna. 2. Borra större hål i markeringarna du gjort med sylen så du får plats med ljushylsorna. 
Vi valde att låta hylsorna sticka upp lite. Slipa ljusstakarna runt om så du får bort flisor. Lite ojämnheter gör ingenting. 3. Spraymåla ljusstakarna runt om och låt torka.
