Hot take: Several educators should be sitting in, advising, and consulting on all curricula designs from beginning to end… One of the reasons it’s hard to justify a prepackaged curriculum is because it is both scripted and prescriptive. Our approach to learning—with our different students, cultures, experiences + environments, materials, and interactions—should be less script and more improv. You’ll need: - a box - a picture with the matching word (@dollartree cards worked great as I bent the top backwards) - popsicle sticks (I used letter stickers but you could just write the letters) - a piece of clear packing tape across the bottom, a dry erase marker, and voila—now it’s a wipe board, too. . . .
