Devorah graciously shared the recipe, and I was surprised to see how few ingredients there were. It was a breeze to tweak and convert to a Pesach recipe. This is sure to become your best-ever apple crisp!!    serves 6-8   • 6–7 large, firm apples (Fuji, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, or the like), peeled and sliced TOPPING • ¼ cup almond flour • 1/2 cup sugar • 3 Tbsp potato starch • 1 tsp cinnamon • 2½ Tbsp oil     1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Neatly layer the apples slices in a 9-inch (23-cm) round oven-to-tableware or pan. 3. Combine the topping ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well, either by hand or with a fork, until you have a thick crumb. Spread evenly over the apples. 4. Bake for 1½ hours until the top is golden and the apples are bubbling   Note:  This freezes beautifully. Roasted Beet Salad with Feta INGREDIENTS 4 beets A bunch of Arugula ½ package of Romaine lettuce ½ package Iceberg lettuce ½ cup mint leaves, removed from the stems 1 orange ½ pomelo (or a different summer fruit) 25 grams Tnuva’s Crumbled Sheep Feta 6 tbs. honey vinaigrette dressing of your choice DIRECTIONS 1.Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Scrub then peel the beets, and slice into 6 slices each. Place in a mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss. Then, place the beets in a single layer in a heat-proof pan in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the beets are soft. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool. 2.Thoroughly wash the lettuces and arugula and dry. Gently tear the leaves into coarse pieces. 3.Peel and fillet the orange and pomelo and set aside. 4.Chop the mint leaves into thin strips. 5.Places the lettuces and the arugula into a serving bowl, season with 4 tbs. of dressing, and gently mix. 6.Place the beet slices and fruit fillets among the greens. 7.Sprinkle with feta and drizzle the remaining 2 tbs. of dressing on top. 8.Serve immediately. #beets #feta #passover #kosherforpassover #pesach #pesachrecipe #kosherforpesach #glutenfree

Roasted Red Pepper Soup With Sour Cream Ingredients: 1/2 package (3.5 oz) Tnuva Butter 4 cloves of garlic 10 large red peppers 1/2 container (4.5 oz) Tnuva Feta Cheese, coarsely chopped 1 ½ cups yogurt 1/2 cup whipping cream 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon sugar Ground black pepper Serve with: 3 tablespoons whipping cream ½ container (8 oz) sour cream Instructions: 1. Using a charcoal grill, roast the red peppers whole until skin is lightly blackened. (If you do not have a charcoal grill, a gas burner or the grill setting in your oven will do.) Place peppers in a plastic container or bag, and cool. Once the peppers are cooled, remove the skin, chop roughly, and deseed. 2. In a medium sized pan, melt the butter. Add peppers and garlic, and fry for about four minutes. Add the cheese and cook for another 3 minutes. 3. Transfer the pepper, garlic, and cheese mixture to a blender or food processor, and process until you’ve attained a smooth consistency. Add yogurt, cream, sugar, salt and pepper and stir. 4. Serve in bowls with a swirl of cream. If you like, use a knife to create patterns. Finally, top with a dollop of sour cream. Beef French Onion Soup This meaty version of French onion soup has a terrific depth of flavor. The meat is so soft and buttery, and it’s the perfect addition to caramelized onions in a delicious broth. Serve with any non gebrokts Pesach crackers. Serves 8-10 ½ cup oil 8 Vidalia onions, cut in half-moons 1.5 lbs. kolichel flanken, cut in chunks 5 cups water 2 cups chicken soup ½ cup dry red wine 2 teaspoons sugar Salt, to taste Black pepper, to taste 1. In a pot, heat the oil. Add the onions and sauté over high heat for 4-5 minutes. 2. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking for about 1 hour, stirring every few minutes, until the onions are caramelized. They will be very soft, dark golden, and significantly reduced in volume. 3. Add the meat, water, chicken soup, wine, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cook 2½-3 hours, until the meat is soft and buttery. Skim the fat off the top and serve. Grilled Cauliflower With An Herb Labaneh Sauce Ingredients: 8 cups of water 1 full head of cauliflower, leaves trimmed and checked 1/3 cup of olive oil 3 tablespoons of fresh-squeezed lemon juice ½ tablespoon of ground chili pepper 1 bay leaf 1 cup of Tnuva Labaneh Low-Fat Cheese 1 bundle of parsley, chopped Sea salt, according to taste Fresh ground pepper, according to taste Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to the maximum temperature. Line a roasting pan with baking paper. 2. Fill a large pot with 8 cups of water, olive oil, lemon juice, chili powder and a bay leaf. Bring to a boil. 3. Carefully place the cauliflower into the pot. Reduce to a low flame and let the cauliflower cook for about 15-20 minutes, until soft. Make sure the cauliflower cooks evenly in the pot. 4. Using a slotted spoon, remove the cauliflower from the pot and place on the roasting pan. Roast the cauliflower for 30-40 minutes, until fully toasted. 5. In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of Labaneh Cheese with 1/3 cup of water. Mix well. 6. Transfer the cauliflower into a serving dish. Top the cauliflower with the Labaneh sauce. Posted @withregram • @cookingwithtantrums Best Pesach Chocolate Chip Cookies RECIPE 1 c sugar 1 c brown sugar 2 eggs 1 c oil 1 tsp vanilla extract 3 1/4 c almond flour or ground almonds 1 c potato starch 10 oz chocolate chips Cream together the sugars, eggs and oil with a mixer on high speed. Add the vanilla, almonds and starch and mix until a dough forms, scraping the sides as needed. Stir in the chocolate chips and refrigerate overnight. When ready to bake, preheat your oven to 350°F. Form balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet, leaving space for them to spread. Bake 12-14 minutes. Until golden brown. Allow to cool before removing from parchment. FAQ Can I substitute something for the almonds? You can try another ground nut but this recipe relies on the nuts for texture so starch will not work well. Can I substitute something for the chocolate chips? You can try raisins but people may hate you for it. Can I freeze? Yes. Can I skip the refrigerating step? You really shouldn't. If you do they'll spread too much and the overall texture will not be the same. Can I turn this into blondies? Don't see why not. Can I make them nut free? Ah, I see you like to skim-read. No, this recipe requires nuts. Can I make them vegan? I haven't tried. If you do and you're successful, please share details so others can benefit. Can I use applesauce in place of oil? It touched me so much that I want to share with you one of my secret recipes. ❤️ 🎊Chocolate Souffle for Pesach or for all year long!🎊 Melt in the microwave in short intervals: 250 gram dark chocolate 1/2 cup oil Melt completely and mix till smooth. In a mixing bowl or using a handheld mixer : Whip for 5 min- 3 whole eggs 1/4 cup sugar Whip until stiff Combine the egg mixture and the chocolate mixture . Transfer to souffle cups or ramekins. You can add a cube of chocolate into each individual cup. Bake on 350 for approx 14 min (Don't dry it out it's meant to be runny and chocolatey). You CAN freeze but make sure its stored well by completely sealing it. Defrost and warm up on your hot plate before serving. This was on the menu for brunch yesterday! (We swapped out zucchini for the eggplant and used fewer spices since my Pesach spices are more limited!) Vegetable Shakshuka #yummy #easyrecipe 3 cups diced eggplant 4 teaspoons olive oil 3 cloves garlic 2 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp smoked paprika 1.5 tsp cinnamon 1 - 2 pinch cayenne pepper 1 cup diced tomatoes 4 eggs 1 cup of Greek basil leaves, torn basil leaves, or chopped parsley Dice the eggplant. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan or skillet and saute the eggplant pieces for a few minutes until they soften and begin to color. Peel and crush the garlic and add to the eggplant with the cumin, paprika cinnamon, and cayenne. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for a few minutes until the spices are toasted and fragrant. Add the tomatoes, stir well, and break up the tomatoes with a spoon. If the sauce seems very thick, add a splash of water to thin down slightly. Cook the sauce for around 15 minutes until the tomatoes are cooked and the sauce has darkened. Make four indentations in the sauce with the back of a spoon, and crack an egg into each one. Cover the pan and continue to cook for another 4-6 minutes until the egg whites are cooked - the yolks should still be soft. Scatter over the basil/parsley and serve Makes 4 servings. Savta Reena’s Famous Fricasee @coachgilaapproved Ingredients: 2 large onions 1 package (1 1/2-2lbs) chicken gizzards or pupiks 2 packages (3 lb) chicken or turkey necks 2 packages (3 lb) chicken wings 1 family pack (5lb) chicken bottoms 1 family pack (3 lb) chopped lean meat 5 lb bag Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and chopped into large chunks or they will fall apart during the cooking process. 6 large carrots, chopped into large chunks 1 -2 cans tomato sauce 1 -2 containers tomato juice 1 cup date sugar (or regular sugar if that’s what you have for Pesach, during the year I recommend using coconut sugar) 1 teaspoon lemon juice Directions: Use your largest pot that has a very heavy bottom (minimum 16 quarts). I prefer a wide pot as opposed to a tall narrow pot. Place the chopped onions on the bottom of the pot and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the chicken gizzards with the can of tomato sauce. Fill the empty tomato sauce can with water and pour the water into the pot. Simmer on low for 1 hour. While the gizzards are simmering make the meatballs and prepare your potatoes and carrots. Meatball recipe: 3 lb chopped lean meat 1/4 cup ketchup 2 eggs 1/2 cup potato starch or matzoh meal Mix well, roll into balls and bake for 25 minutes at 350 Layer the remaining ingredients into the pot in the following order: Potatoes Carrots Chicken thighs Chicken or Turkey necks Chicken wings Meatballs Add sugar, lemon juice and tomato juice Everything should be submerged into the liquid. If not, add more tomato juice or tomato sauce. (The amount is sauce you need will depend largely on the shape of your pot.) Simmer on low for 3 hours. After the fricasee cools I transfer everything into 4 9x13 pans evenly distributing the potatoes, meatballs and other types of chicken. BROWNIE BISCOTTI - W/ COCONUT Easy and delicious, I bet you it would be finished before it even hits the platter. If you don’t like coconut you can leave it out, just it really gives the most amazing addition to the biscotti. Ingredients: 2 cups Goldbaums almond flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ¾ cup sugar ¼ teaspoon salt ¾ cup Liebers cocoa powder 2 eggs ¼ cup oil – or a bit more as needed Directions: 1) Preheat oven to 350° F. and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. 2) In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients until fully combine. Transfer mixture to prepared baking sheet and form into a log shape the length of the sheet. Place in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. 3) Remove from oven and lower temperature to 300° F. Allow the biscotti to cool for 10 minutes. Once cool slice the biscotti using a serrated knife and place back in oven for another 15 minutes. 4) Once full baked allow to cool before following instructions for topping. Topping: 1 cup Liebers 60% cocao chocolate chips 1 Tablespoon coconut oil ½ cup Liebers shredded coconut – toasted Directions: 1) Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in the microwave or double broiler. Mix well and pour mixture on top of the cooled biscotti. Sprinkle over the shredded coconut on top and place in freezer for 20 minutes before spreading the pieces apart. People from all over the world make it, and they love it so much they use this recipe all through the year, not just for Peach! Try it and you'll see why. Kishka 1 carrot, peeled 1 potato, peeled 1 stalk celery 1 small onion ⅓ cup oil 4 tablespoons Manischewitz potato starch 1 cup matzah ball mix or non-gebrokts matzah ball mix, such as Gefen Matzo Ball Mix 1 teaspoon salt 1½ teaspoons paprika Cholent 1 tablespoon Haddar kosher salt 1 tablespoon paprika 1 tablespoon garlic powder 6 Russet or Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into ½-inch dice 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and quartered 2 onions, quartered 2 pounds bone-in flanken 2 tablespoons Manischewitz potato starch 1 cup ketchup ½ cup Alfasi cabernet sauvignon or other red wine 3 cups water Kishka 1. In the bowl of a food processor fitted with the S blade, puree the vegetables. 2. Add remaining ingredients; mix to combine. 3. Place the mixture in a rectangular piece of Gefen parchment paper. Roll up tightly, making sure both ends are closed, to ensure that it doesn't leak while cooking. Set aside. Cholent 1. In a small bowl, combine salt, paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside. 2. In a medium bowl, toss potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and flanken with the spice mixture. Place into a slow cooker. In a small bowl, dissolve potato starch in the water. Add ketchup and wine. Add to slow cooker. Place prepared kishka into cholent. 4. Garlicky Brisket Is it even Pesach without brisket? Low and slow is the way to go for soft, moist brisket. Serves 8 3–4 lb. first-cut brisket (second-cut is also okay) Salt, to taste Black pepper, to taste 1⁄4 cup + 1⁄4 cup olive oil, divided 3 medium onions, sliced in half-moons 1 1/2 cups chicken soup 1 1/2 cups red wine 3 tablespoons brown sugar 30 cloves garlic, sliced 1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 2. Pat the brisket dry and season with salt and pepper to taste. 3. In a large frying pan, heat 1⁄4 cup olive oil over high heat and sear the brisket for 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and set aside. 4. Add remaining 1⁄4 cup olive oil to the frying pan. Add onions and sauté for 15 minutes, until golden. 5. Add the chicken broth and deglaze the pan, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom and mixing them into the onions. Transfer to a 9x13-inch baking dish. 6. Add the wine and brown sugar and stir gently. Add the brisket and sprinkle garlic all over. 7. Cover and bake for 31⁄2 hours. I had an outpouring of love and concern from all of you regarding how am I cooking while postpartum?! It touched me so much that I want to share with you one of my secret recipes. ❤️ 🎊Chocolate Souffle for Pesach or for all year long!🎊 Melt in the microwave in short intervals: 250 gram dark chocolate 1/2 cup oil Melt completely and mix till smooth. In a mixing bowl or using a handheld mixer : Whip for 5 min- 3 whole eggs 1/4 cup sugar Whip until stiff Combine the egg mixture and the chocolate mixture . Transfer to souffle cups or ramekins. You can add a cube of chocolate into each individual cup. Bake on 350 for approx 14 min (Don't dry it out it's meant to be runny and chocolatey). You CAN freeze but make sure its stored well by completely sealing it. Defrost and warm up on your hot plate before serving. Special thanks to @deborahpollack1 for letting me know that Trader Joe's 🌺 has kosher for passover turkey breast and inspiring this idea for (yet another) upcoming festive meal!! 🦃 Herb-roasted Turkey Breast (serves 2) 1 lb (16 oz) boneless turkey breast, raw 2 cups celery, chopped 1 cup sliced mushrooms 2 Tbsp onion, diced 1 tsp poultry seasoning 1⁄2 tsp each ground black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder 1⁄2 cup low-sodium chicken broth 2 tsp oil or trans fat-free margarine Preheat oven to 350° F. Place turkey breasts in medium roasting pan. Sprinkle equal amounts of poultry seasoning, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder on turkey breasts. Place celery, onions, and sliced mushrooms around turkey breasts. Pour chicken broth and oil (or margarine) into roasting pan. I tasted the best-ever apple crisp when I spent a most enjoyable Shabbos with Devorah G. and her family. Devorah graciously shared the recipe, and I was surprised to see how few ingredients there were. It was a breeze to tweak and convert to a Pesach recipe. This is sure to become your best-ever apple crisp!!    serves 6-8   • 6–7 large, firm apples (Fuji, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, or the like), peeled and sliced TOPPING • ¼ cup almond flour • 1/2 cup sugar • 3 Tbsp potato starch • 1 tsp cinnamon • 2½ Tbsp oil     1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Neatly layer the apples slices in a 9-inch (23-cm) round oven-to-tableware or pan. 3. Combine the topping ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well, either by hand or with a fork, until you have a thick crumb. Spread evenly over the apples. 4. Bake for 1½ hours until the top is golden and the apples are bubbling   Note:  This freezes beautifully. I’m celebrating Passover this year with this delicious flourless dessert, packed chock full of chocolate. This recipe is perfect whether you are hosting a Seder this holiday, or looking for a sweet treat the rest of the year! Chag Sameach (Happy Holidays) to all those celebrating. RECIPE: Passover Chocolate Cake with Ganache INGREDIENTS: 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips ½ cup oil 2/3 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tbsp strong coffee or chocolate liquor (optional) 1/8th tsp salt 3 large eggs ½ cup cocoa powder Garnish: ½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips ¼ cup evaporated milk INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray an 8” spring form pan with vegetable oil. 2. Melt chocolate in glass bowl in microwave at high for 1 ½ minutes. Stir until melted, if not add another 20 seconds. Add sugar and whisk until combined. Add oil, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and eggs and mix until well combined. Add cocoa and mix until combined. Pour into pan and bake for 25 – 30 minutes just until centre is just cooked. Do not overbake. 3. Another one! If you like peanut butter cups, you'll LOVE these hazelnut butter bars. These babies made their debut last year on @kosherdotcom and I almost forgot about them! RECIPE 2 cups almond flour 1 cup Gefen Hazelnut Butter, divided 1 cup Gefen Confectioners Sugar pinch of salt 2 ounces chocolate Gefen Hazelnut Brittle, for topping Combine almond flour, 1 cup minus 2 tablespoons hazelnut butter, confectioners' sugar, and salt. Mix until fully incorporated and press into an 8" square pan lined with parchment paper. Melt chocolate with remaining two tablespoons hazelnut butter. Stir until smooth and pour on top, spreading out to edges. Top with hazelnut brittle and chill to set. FAQ time! Can I make these nut free? No. It's like literally in the title. But they're egg free, yay! And gluten free, yay! Can I use almond butter? Totally But hazelnut is "literally in the title" 🙄 Don't be like that. It's unbecoming. Can I double these? Easily and highly recommended! Can I skip the brittle topping? If you can't find it, replace with a sprinkle of coarse sea salt to up the ante on the sweet and salty factor. What's the easiest way to melt chocolate? Place chocolate in a zip top FREEZER bag. It's gotta be freezer, they're thicker so they won't melt. Seal and submerge in boiling water. Let it hang out for a bit until it's nice and melted. No burning, no dishes and if you forget about it and it resolidifies, just replace the now cold water with new boiling water. Tada! Does it have to be freezer bags? 🤨 yes. Can I shape these differently? Why, yes you can. Roll them into balls and drizzle or coat with chocolate for delicious truffles or make little patties and coat with chocolate. Allow to set in a paper cupcake liner for peanut butter cup copycats. Can I make these without the sugar? I mean.. you can try to make them with green beans instead but then they'll be kitniyos so I guess stick with the sugar. Where do you store these? Gluten Free Carrot Muffins Looking for a carrot muffin that is moist,fluffy and tastes llike chometz..look no further.. These truly deliver!! 2 large carrots( peeled and cut into chunks) should measure 2 Cups. 1 C crushed pineapple 1 C shredded coconut 2 1/4 C almond flour 1 1/4 C potato starch 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 tsp cinnamon 1 C oil 1 3/4 C sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 3 eggs Preheat oven to 350 Line 24 muffin cups with liners Place carrots, pineapple, and shredded coconut into a food processor fitted with the S blade. Blend until it becomes relatively smooth. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine almond flour, potato starch, baking powder, baking soda,salt and cinnamon. Stir well and set aside. Beat oil , vanilla extract and sugar until blended. Alternate between adding an egg and part of the almond flour mixture beating well after each addition. Add in the carrot mixture. Beat until combined. Divide batter evenly between prepared muffin cups, filling almost to the top. Pesach recipe alert 🚨 I’m Stuffed Seder Chicken- A delicious choice for your Seder meal, stuffed with a savory sweet charoset stuffing. Holiday worthy indeed! Watch for how to. Recipe👇🏻 I’m Stuffed Seder Chicken ____________________________ Ingredients- 8 chicken capons 1 large red onion, diced 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced 3 apples, peeled and diced 10 pitted medjool dates, chopped 2 oranges, zest & juice 1 cup grape juice, divided. 2 tablespoons Silan (optional) 1/2 cup almond flour ( or Rosie’s grain free KFP flour mix @fullnfree ) Spice mix for chicken: 1 tablespoon kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon garlic 1 teaspoon paprika Directions- Preheat oven to 350°. Heat a large pan with a little bit of oil. Sauté the onion, sweet potato, Apples, orange zest and dates for ten minutes. Add half the orange juice and 1/2 cup grape juice. Mix, then add the almond flour. Cook for 2 more minutes then allow stuffing to cool. And open the capons skin side down and place a large spoon on stuffing in the middle. Wrap the chicken around the stuffing and place it in a prepared pan. Continue stuffing capons and place the extra stuffing around the chicken. Pour the last half a cup of grape juice and orange juice around the sides of the chicken. Sprinkle the top of the capons with a spice mix. Cover and cook for one hour. Uncover for 15 minutes to get some nice color. Allow the chicken to rest then slice and serve. Yum!
