I have been dreading this day for about a year. Had to finally suck it up and give it a go. Part of my dread was having to run 100 ft of mic/headphone cables down to the studio, and then somehow manage to operate Pro Tools from my iPhone on a terrible wifi connection. Miraculously, it all worked on the first attempt. I also don’t have 2 U87’s so I experimented with a Pearlman TM47 on the lower strings. I’m pretty shocked how well they paired together.
