Today we remember the birthday of Dutch cellist, conductor, and member of the Dutch resistance, Frieda Belinfante (10 May 1904 – 5 March 1995)! After WWII, she emigrated to the US, where she founded the Orange County Orchestra. She premiered Henriëtta Bosman's 2nd cello concerto. Unfortunately, her recording output was sparse and poorly maintained. None of her pre-war recorded radio performances survive, and only the very last recording of her American career is preserved in an archive (Angelus Records LP # WR4976). There are two videos about her, the first in Dutch, but much is understandable from the photos. Thank you @luisandclark_instruments for the safe delivery! 這一趟來美國除了工作外，還有另一個很重要的任務！ 讓我來為大家介紹，我的第二位夥伴～ 🎻❤️ 從沒想過會這麼快就擁有第二把大提琴… 嗯 準備還債了：） … #為什麼需要碳纖維大提琴？ 從2年前某次戶外演出開始（雨下很大那次），就決定之後不能再讓我的木頭琴被這樣摧殘，畢竟接到戶外演出的頻率還是蠻高的（我自己也喜歡在大自然中演出不想拒絕🥹）於是開始物色第二把琴… 本來也有在考慮電大提琴，但拿起來比木頭還重這點讓我覺得沒有比較方便，跑來跑去的工作模式只想減輕身體負擔XD 後來查到了「碳纖維大提琴」的選項，也因此認識到Luis & Clark這個牌子，它看起來是目前最穩定、最接近木頭音色的，但可惜台灣沒有進口所以就暫時擱著 直到這次有機會和無獨有偶一起到美國工作，才又燃起了我想買它的念頭！！ 但畢竟跨國購買一個單價這麼高的線上商品，還是會很緊張… 幸好有好心人們的協助，才能順利購買成功🫶🏻🫶🏻 … 感謝劇團舞監 @theoryofsomeone 協助牽線聯繫在美國的同事，讓我人不在美國也可以先有地址和朋友幫忙收包裹 感謝 @daweichen945 幫我打電話詢問店家，關於稅金的購買問題 感謝 @ya_ting1117 堅固的航空盒，讓我可以安全把大提琴托運回去 總而言之，這把琴真是得來不易啊～ 但的確為我減輕了很多重量！現在揹琴就不會腰酸背痛了！完全值得擁有👍🏻👍🏻 #就算納妾了還是不會忘記正宮的啦
