☀️ Summer is right around the corner and the weather is heating up. It is so important to stay hydrated. 💦 Water is not enough. It does not have electrolytes. Dehydration can cause constipation, which could trigger seizures. Dehydration can also cause feelings of fatigue or headaches. Avoid “sports drinks” loaded with sugar. Attention parents of infants (0-12mo)! This will be a basic massage class, to learn beneficial massage strokes to reduce gas, improve circulation, reduce tension, and improve overall mood! As a parent, you are always trying to find ways to bond with your baby, and sometimes, your baby is too fussy, too hungry, too gassy, too tired to make that sweet connection. I am here to help! As a Certified Infant Massage Coach, and parent of two, I have provided countless massages on my own children, and well as for clients. Learning basic strokes to help your baby feel better in their bodies, can be so beneficial for all (hence, maybe more quality sleep for you). This is not a training course for certification, and we will not be going over human anatomy and physiology. This is meant to be simple and understandable for easy carryover at home. Today marks 1 year officially since I launched my business Sprouting Babies. It has been a remarkable year filled with learning opportunities, pure joy, and stress, but overall a life changing year and I am so grateful to have taken that leap and gone for it. The milestones I’ve witnessed from so many have kept me going day in and day out. The friendships I have made and the collaborations have filled me with such happiness. It’s been a hustle, not going to lie, but I am beyond proud of the success and recognition I have received by so many. You all have supported me, trusted me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this dream of mine a reality. I started this business because I recognized a need in this community, and as a mother of two young children, I wanted the flexibility to be there for their special moments (including drop off/pick up at school, field trips, sports etc). This year has taught me a lot about myself, and reminded me of my purpose, both as a mother and also as a practitioner. Anyone who has met me over this past year can see how passionate I am about the my business and educating new and veteran parents on child development and more. I find tremendous value in spreading the word about topics that can drastically change your life, the life of your child’s (ie getting them to feel better in their bodies).
