Three years ago, Beckett shed tears because we were unable to land a gobbler on our hunt together. Fast forward to this morning and his exact words as we stepped out of the blind to head home, “I don’t need a bird this year, I have my Daddy and Grampy and that makes me feel so good” The boy never ceases to amaze me at 6 years old.
