21st of May. Today I am thankful for the gift of my middle child. It's his 7th today. Extremely clever. Top of his class. Teacher assistant (who would have heard of that?). Sometimes I forget that he is a mere child with his profound thoughts & independence. He reviews & does his homeworks on his own. I rarely check. I did trial on letting him do school work on his own towards the 2nd quarter & when results of his exams were almost perfect for all subjects I let him be. He just made things easier for me & to think that he was six then. He can even name almost all flags of different countries. Always in awe on how his brain works, which pretty much makes up for his klutziness 😅 To my brainiac, I will always be proud of you gold or no gold award. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's okay to make mistakes. Life is never perfect, but to us, you are perfect just the way you are. The @500festivalprincess afforded me the opportunity to travel the state and talk about "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing." I earned some scholarship funds, and got the best race experience of my life. Forever grateful for all the wonderful people I met as well. What many people don't know is that the very next year I returned to The 500 Festival as the PR Intern.
