It’s still nice to get photographs done of your kids even though they are preteens or teenagers. This private home holiday session I did for Christmas brought me into this family’s home where I did my setup and I ended up using their brick wall as a backdrop instead of my backdrop. We cleared some of their personal items for the shoot and I used my lit trees in the background to make the photo more festive and frame the shot. This was the last photograph I took of this couple during their private photography session. They are at end of their pregnancy and looking forward to having their baby this week. We got so lucky with the timing. We had special moments between the Mom and Dad to be and got to enjoy the amazing July weather on their private property. This gave me lots of space to take the photographs and it was very private and peaceful.
