I remember being pregnant with my second born and having this fear that I wouldn’t be able to give them as much love as my first born. That somehow, I’d have to share the love between them. I know, that sounds daft now but it wasn’t until someone explained to me that your heart doesn’t divide its love, it doubles. The penny dropped for me and obviously the moment he was born that’s exactly what happened. Actually, I didn’t just have the same amount of love for my new baby, my love grew even more for my first born.
