Abandonment wounds don't always mean you were LITERALLY left. Emotional abandonment and neglect can also lead to this wound. Most often, those with deep abandonment wounds have also learned to self-abandon. Abandoning your own needs, desires, and boundaries for others will put you on the highway to danger zone. When we self abandon a part of us leaves. We disassociate and therefore create a bigger split. Remember- our soul is calling for integration and wholeness, and anytime you abandon this, you break a little more. This will lead to all sorts of issues like chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and all of the things. The more I study energy, the more I see how we create disease in the mind body spirit.
