One of the biggest complaints that I hear from my clients and others that I chat with regrading their wellness journey - I just don't have the time to take care of myself. Honestly, that is one of the biggest lies you keep telling yourself.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Here is 4 months worth of progress...I didn't kill myself or do anything drastic. This is 100% focusing on:⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Drinking my water (1/2 my body weight in ounces)⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Dialing in my nutrition. Not eating "perfecting" but making more mindful choices but still treating myself when appropriate.⁠ ⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Tracking what I eat, and focusing on more veggies and lean meats. I have found a love for getting creative with my cooking and love trying new recipes.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ I take the extra time on the weekends to meal plan and meal prep my breakfasts and lunches for the week to cut down on the time spent preparing my food each day. I also don't mind eating the same thing each day for those 2 meals.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Working out 4 times per week.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Most importantly, I made time for myself!!!⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Here's the honest truth - you MAKE time for the things you want to. I'll repeat that - you MAKE time for the things you want to. And if you are still saying you don't have enough time, that tells me that you are not truly interested in taking care of yourself.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Listen, you cannot take care of anyone else if you are not taking care of yourself.
