We often grieve pets more frequently than we do humans due to their shorter life span. Some feelings that came up for Chelsea were tremendous sadness, but also a sense of relief. Izzy was a great "big sister" to two younger fur siblings and two younger human companions, but living with cancer started to take its toll.
