Being a farmer is never an easy task. Whether one does it for production or for a hobby; it’s not something that individual or family enters into lightly. It’s a huge, life-changing decision. Today, we had to make a huge decision. It was not an easy one, it was not done lightly. We had to have our ewe, Beatrice put down. She has been unwell for a couple months now and we have done absolutely everything in our power and the veterinarian’s power to help her get well. ❤️‍🩹 Unfortunately, this wasn’t up to us anymore and she has gone on to that great, big, green pasture in the sky. We have loved the privilege of caring for her for almost 4 years.
