04 February. As a child I loved flowers. This is still true. A friend showed me Flower Therapy reading cards by Doreen Virtue and Robert Reeves: Welcome the Angels of Nature into your life. And so I did. In my 20s I built up a clothing wardrobe saturated with every shade of violet, purple, lavender, lilac, magenta - you get the idea. It represented the feminism of a modern woman, the Aquarius amethyst gem, and preoccupations with a spiritual journey. This morning the crocus was my flower reading card. My puppy climbed onto my dining table one day and like autumn leaves my reading cards were scattered on the floor. This card however, was Marlowe's personal favourite, apparently. He took a forever bite out of the corner. THE THREE WISE MEN HAVE VISITED. WE'D LOVE TO SEE YOU TOO! The Church celebrated Epiphany Sunday last Sunday (7th January). This service remembers the visit of the three wise men (the Magi) to Bethlehem to see Jesus and the Holy Family. It was a lovely service and everyone enjoyed it. The three Magi were brought their by the natal star shining over the stable where the Master of Divine Love was born. Please feel free to come along. All are welcome, including visitors and children. Children need to be 14 years or more to have a flower reading. Each service is followed by a light morning tea. Holy Communion - Sunday 28th January We are holding a Holy Communion Service on Sunday 28th January, starting at 10am. All are welcome to attend and participate, including visitors and children. Children need to be 8+ years to receive communion. A Blessing Only is provided to younger children and infants. Adults can also have a Blessing Only if they wish. All hygiene precautions are taken. The service will be followed by a light lunch. Any food contributions are welcome, especially if you have any special food requirements. More Information Please arrive to be seated 10 minute prior to the start time. It also gives you a wider choice of parking spots!
