Al igual que el último post, la siguiente parada diría que es un imperdible: Cambugahay falls. Más populares (por lo tanto más personas y más explotado), también tienes que pagar por un guía (de gran ayuda para no resbalar en el camino), que las hace todas! Aquí fue donde conocimos al dron humano 😅 arriesgan su vida y TU cámara por tener las mejores fotos y videos cuando estás en medio del río en la barcaza de bambú. Las cascadas tienen 3 niveles, cada una con su encanto. Me quedo con las de 2do y 3er nivel (éstas son las que más turistas atrae porque son muy fotogénicas y las típicas postales que salen en instagram, ya veo porqué llaman tanto la atención). El color del agua es un turquesa precioso, que según la hora del día destaca aún más fuerte (también influye si toca nublado). En la segunda cascada hay una cueva y el guía te dice relájate vas a tener una hidroterapia mientras sientes todo el poder del agua golpeando tu cuerpo 😅. La última es la más “fome” aunque también te puedes tirar en columpio lo que le da más adrenalina. Continuamos nuestro recorrido hacia una de las playas más prístinas de la isla, de hecho está protegida y no se permite el baño de las personas en sus aguas. Se llama Salagdoong Beach y queda al este de la isla. Ese color de agua que tanto me encanta, que tanto me tiene así 🤩😍. Además cuenta con una pequeña colina que te permite apreciarlo desde la altura, mejor aún! Existe un “trampolín”, los más valientes se lanzaban desde ahí al mar. (Yo soy de aventura extrema pero no sé si sería capaz de hacerlo). Hoy en día sirve como pasarela fotográfica. Tercer día recorriendo Siquijor, esta vez contratamos un chofer que nos llevaría en du triciclo por gran parte de la isla (nuestro amigo Jerald no pudo acompañarnos pero él mismo consiguió a alguien que lo reemplazara, muy pro de su parte) Primera parada: old enchanted balete tree. Siquijor es conocida por los chamanes y brujerías que hacen pociones mágicas. Se cree que este lugar tiene poderes curativos (como por ejemplo colocar los pies en esas aguas subterráneas con los peces que succionan y funcionan como exfoliantes, también conocido como ictioterapia). El árbol Banyan se estima que tiene unos 400 años y se cree que está encantado. Los locales no saben de dónde, cómo y porqué fluye el agua hacia la fuente donde nadan los peces. Curioso por decirlo menos. Por supuesto que hicimos todo lo que los turistas (y también locales) hacen. Una sensación muy extraña que te succionen los pies porque además hay peces grandes que también se acercan y no sabes si te morderán 😅. Luego nos dirigimos a Lagaan falls. No tenía ninguna expectativa de hecho ni siquiera sabía cómo eran estas cascadas porque no había visto fotos en internet. Y qué fortuna que no lo hice previamente. El lugar es hermoso (se llega con una pequeña caminata bosque abajo), rodeado de naturaleza salvaje y casi sin turistas!! Un regalo. Se debe pagar una entrada porque vas con guía y qué suerte la nuestra que nos tocó Jun! El mejor mejor guía y fotógrafo. Nos tomó cuántas fotos y videos quisimos, se dio el tiempo de conversar con nosotras, de cuidarnos y de que pasáramos el mejor de los días. Muy aventurero porque tienen un columpio-liana. Él nos enseñó cómo hacerlo para no sufrir ningún accidente. 100/10 el servicio. Diría que un imperdible si visitas la isla. Lower and Upper Calf Creek Falls near Escalante, Utah. The trail to Lower Falls (126 feet) is longer (6 miles round trip) but is easier and much more popular. It was too cold to take a dip. Upper Falls (88 feet) are less known. The hike to it is quite steep (2.5 miles round trip), so I found it more interesting and rewarding. Cascada Cailor este situată în apropiere de stațiunea turistică Borșa, în partea de Nord-Est a Munților Rodnei. Apa adunată într-un circ glaciar se scurge peste un abrupt calcaros numit ˝Podul Cailor˝, în mai multe trepte, rezultând cea mai mare cascadă din România. Se află la altitudinea de 1300 m iar căderea de apă este de 90 metri. Legendă: Se spune că Muntele Piatra Rea a reprezentat locul preferat al celor ce locuiesc în zonă pentru a-și ține hergheliile de cai începând cu primăvara până în toamnă, motivul fiind unul simplu: pășunile sunt de o frumusețe și o bogăție greu de văzut în alte locuri, astfel, caii puteau paște în voie fără a fi deranjați. Însă cum poveștile nu sunt frumoase până la capăt, se spune că hergheliile de cai obișnuiau să fie atacate de urși, aceștia fiind înfometați și căutând hrană în carnea cailor. Locul fiind unul deschis, șansele de izbândă ale ursului erau mici. Însă ursul, fiind un animal deștept, cum este și cunoscut, găsea soluții și încolțea animalele deasupra prăpastiei de lângă ceea ce în zilele noastre se numește chiar Cascada Cailor. Astfel, fiind prinse într-un loc strâmt, bietele animale nu mai aveau șanse și cădeau pradă ursului.
