While Quebec treats their dish with reverence, Toronto treats it as a canvas for our diversity. tropicaljoesrestaurant is seriously in contention for the best non-traditional poutine I’ve ever had. Chris has been dedicated to his craft here since ‘06 - the fries, meats and gravy are impeccable. Cheese curds were tested but scrapped in favour of shredded cheese, it simply works better for this dish. $15 will cover any of the large jerk poutines, which easily feeds two people unless you’re absolutely famished.
