It wasn’t, but I did find 2 plots with family members in albeit without the headstones I’d hoped for. CASTING CALL: Looking for a man (20’s-40’s) to play the role of Thomas Magill, a marginalised member of a small community in a town called Inishfree. ‘Misterman’ is a one man show with intermittent recorded dialogue. Thomas Magill is the centre of the narrative, but we learn a lot about the other characters through the recordings and Thomas’ impersonations of them. Thomas is obsessive. He has his daily routine down to a tee, and everything he does it almost ritualistic. He appears to be the ‘odd one out’ in the town, almost excluded; there is a detachment between Thomas and his community. Thomas’ drive is around his religious beliefs, trying to rid the town of sin and brand people either good or bad. This will be a collaborative process between the actor and director, and this production is a profit share. Rehearsals will take place between Derry-Londonderry and Strabane - the schedule will be finalised with the actor in place.
