Looking back to January 2022 when this mature holm oak sadly had to be pollarded due to a severe stress fracture overhanging the entrance driveway. Looking forward, I’d hoped to be able to do something interesting with the regrowth having been inspired by some lovely open stemmed holm oak specimens I’d spotted on city visits to London and Bath, also paying homage to this wonderful evergreen tree.
