面白かったです。個人的にはもう少しボブマーリーが音楽を始めるキッカケとかそういうのも見れたら良かったなと思ったり。緩い陽気な雰囲気あるけど、ラスタファリズム、ジャーを信条としてレベルミュージックとして、カウンターカルチャーとしてレゲエはあるんだなってのを再認識。途中ボブマーリーがロンドンに亡命してパンクのライブ観に行ったりしてる描写もありますが、70年代当時本当色んな所で反体制運動が盛んで色々共振してたんだなと感じます。そしてヒップホップはやっぱりクールハークなんかが持ち込んだであろうラスタファリ思想の影響が強いんだなってのも観ながら感じました。とにもかくにもレゲエは色んな音楽に多大な影響与えてる偉大な音楽なんだなぁと改めて感じました。あとダンスホールよりルーツレゲエの方がやっぱいいですね。エクソダス聴き直します。最後にやっぱアディダスのジャージってかっこいい。 #bobmarley

． 1990前後の私のスクラップブック。 ボブ・マーリィの出てるサンスプラッシュの映像の映画を観ながら、 彼を知ったのはなんだったか考えてた。 多分ボガンボスのどんとが No woman no cryをカバーしてた動画、 今でもYouTubeにきっとあるので是非。 ただもう胸がいっぱいで泣きたくなる。 ミュージックトマト(TVK神奈川テレビは音楽の情報源だった) か何かで見たのかな？ 思えばどんとは、なんだかボブマーリィと共通点がある気がするなあ🥲 あとそういえな、家に何かBobの記事のスクラップあったかもと思い出し 帰宅して開いたらめっちゃ幾つもボブマーリィ切り取っててびっくり。(写真の他にもあった…) そんなに興味持ってたと忘れてた。 実際は同じアルバムをグルグル聴いてたぐらいで詳しくもないのだけど。 なんだかレゲエは体質に合う。 閉所恐怖、爆音嫌い、人多いの嫌い、地下嫌いなので クラブ遊びは誘われても逃げてたけど レゲエなら何故か朝まで踊れる勢いてほど気持ちよかった。 何故だったのか、この映画観てわかった気がする。 私ブルースも体に合うんだ。 労働者や困窮者の叫びのようなベースがあるものが 私にとっては癒しになる。 苦しい表現なほど、息ができる気がする。 - それにしても私、ボブマーリィの事もジャマイカのことも、 歌に度々出てくる「トレンチタウン」のことも、 ラスタという言葉の意味もなにも知らなかった。 これを知ったら尚更、ファッションでドレッドするとかめちゃめちゃ違うじゃん…って改めて思った。 こりゃそんな風に踏み込んじゃダメだわ。 一時期、好きでライブ通いしてた日本の某バンドが 「今度はレゲエの曲出した」ていうその曲を聴いて そん時は理屈抜きでただ感覚的に 「こんなんレゲエじゃねえ」と違和感を感じて 仕舞いにはすっかりそのバンドへの興味を失ってしまったのだけど。 「レゲエ風」をプロのバンドマンがリズムだけなぞってなんちゃってをやるなんて、 お話にならない幼稚さだと感じた。 この話ってレゲエに限らない訳だけど。 だって例えば「デスメタル風」とか、考えただけで袋叩きじゃないですか？ なんでレゲエはOKと思ったんだ。 文化なめんな。 話それたw この映像(1976)の前年のライブ音源(1975)をむかし鬼リピして聴いてた。 それのNo woman…は本当に最高。会場全員が歌ってるやつ。 そしてしかし、この映像(96)のボブマーリィは、 「ガンジャ」でキマリまくってるように見えて妙な雰囲気で、 姿は飛び抜けてカッコいいけど、本人はなにかバランスを崩してるようにも見えた。 (でも、歌も声も完璧😳) 映画の中に、丘に住んで野菜やガンジャを育てながら レゲエは太鼓と歌だけ、電気を使う楽器は要らん、という人達が出て来て、 そことサンスプラッシュの雰囲気との落差が印象的だった。 一時期日本でもジャパンスプラッシュがあって、 音楽オタクのお姉さん(友人)に連れてってもらった記憶ある。 ステージ遠いし暑いし埃っぽいしトイレ遠いしっていう記憶ばっかり残ってるけどw ジャマイカを出て、 Bob亡き後もそうやって海外でやったりとかレゲエが一大エンタメみたいになった時、 彼らミュージシャンやその人々の家族や地元では何が起きてたのかな。 レゲエのルーツ、強い意志と哲学、 それと現状のギャップが この映像に収まっている日のボブマーリィの暗い顔の理由なのか、 なんなのか。 そっくりさんがやる映画を観れば教えてくれるかもだけど、 多分そっちは行かないので、 今度自分でどれか読んでみようかな。 #BobMarleyLastLiveinJamaicaReggaeSunSplash #BobMarley #映画記録 最後の方はオマケ♡ 若くて可愛い清志郎と、 何故か貼っていたデモに参加するフリーダカーロ あとプライベーツの延原さんがラジオでオススメしてくれた曲リスト 延原さんはレコードで聞いてるけど、 CD化されてなかったらしい。当時。 今になって試しにApple Music検索したら、 すぐ出て来た😅 「UK バーズ」と、延原さんが言っていたのです。 アメリカの「Byrds」じゃなくて イギリスの方！「Birds」！と。 と、でもラジオだからどっちも「バーズ」で認識。 今から自分用プレイスト作ってみようかな。 うん十年越しの。 いや つまんない話。 私のインスタはマイスクラップブック的な自分への記録かな。
