Some great colour photos of Robert's famous t-shirt from 1977. I don't know too much about the t-shirt, possibly given to him by a fan on the 77 tour. The slogan itself was fad in the 70s. Robert's wife Maureen was training to be a nurse in the early days of their relationship. "For this show only, Robert Plant wore a light blue t-shirt emblazoned with the slogan 'NURSES DO IT BETTER' " ' I didn't know that much about Led Zeppelin when I photographed them. I simply liked that they were a hugely photogenic band. Sure, I was familiar with Stairway To Heaven, and watched the crowd go crazy yet again when they played it. But when Zeppelin showed up to a thunderous welcome, I was surprised because once again, I didn't appreciate they were such a big deal to so many people.
