The last time I ran a half marathon, Heidi was the size of a fig inside me, and we had just had the first total solar eclipse in a century. It was the start of a new season. Today’s 21.1 kilometres were continuous (something I’ve never done in a decade of running), made me feel both proud and extremely grateful for my body’s ability to push itself.
