He ﷺ said: If Allah admits you into Paradise, would you not desire to ride on horses (made from] rubies. You will indeed fly upon them and they shall (take you] to any Paradise that you wish. Another man came to him صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم and said: O Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم, are there camels in Paradise? He ﷺ said: O slave of Allah, if Allah admits you into Paradise, you shall find therein all that you yearn for and provides (a source of) pleasure to your eye. Ibn Bunan al-Asbahani (رحمه الله) says: I once saw Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in a dream and asked, “O Nabi of Allāh (صلى الله عليه وسلم), have you given any special honour to Muhammad Ibn Idrees ash-Shafi’ee (رحمه الله)?” Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, “Yes, I have asked Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) to excuse him from reckoning on the Day of Qiyamah.” I asked, “What was the reason for this?” Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, “He recited a unique Durood shareef/Salawat upon me.” I asked, “What Durood/Salawat did he recite?” Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) asnwered, “He would say, . . Allaahumma sallee ‘alaa nabiyyinaa muhammadin kullamaa dhakarahudh-dhaakiroon, wa kullamaa ghafala ‘an dhikrihil-ghaafiloon . . ‘O Allaah (سبحانه و تعالى), bestow Your mercy and blessings upon Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) whenever he is remembered, and bestow Your mercy and blessings upon Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) whenever he is not remembered.’ . . This Durood Shareef/Salawat is called Durood-e-Shafi’i because Hazrat Imam Shafi’i رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه used to recite it constantly and he received glad tidings of Jannah in this world. This Durood Shareef/Salawat is of a very great significance. It brings tremendous prosperity, health, happiness and success in this and the next world. . Hazrat Allama Sakhavi رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه has written in his book that Abdullah bin Abdul Hakam saw Hazrat Imam Shafi’i رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنهم in a dream after his death and inquired about life after death. Imam Shafi’i رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه told him that because of the continuous recitation of the above Durood Shareef/Salawat, Allah Ta’ala gave him the most exalted position of the highest grade in Heaven and forgave him. Once the Prophet ﷺ was sitting in a room with Sayyidah ‘Āishah رضى الله عنها and fixing his shoes. It was really warm and so Sayyidah ‘Āishah رضى الله عنها looked to his blessed forehead and noticed beads of sweat. She became overwhelmed by the majesty of the sight and stared at him ﷺ long enough for him to notice. He ﷺ said, “What’s the matter?” She replied, “If Abū Bukair al-Huthalī the poet saw you, he would know that his poem was written for you.” The Prophet ﷺ then asked, “What did he say?” She replied, “Abū Bukair said that if you looked to the majesty of the moon, it twinkles and lights up for the world for everybody to see.” So the Prophet ﷺ got up, walked to Sayyidah ‘Āishah رضى الله عنها kissed her between the eyes, and said, “Wallāhi yā ‘Āishah, you are like that to me and more.” [Bukhārī] #HeIsMuhammadﷺ . . . اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا أَمَرْتَنَا أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ عَلَيهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُصَلَّى عَلَيهِ .
