This TIE Fighter was supposed to have been in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but ended up not due to changes made with the movie’s direction. The TIE Echelon is the transport model of the TIE fighter series and was used to bring over First Order stormtroopers to Batuu. It also brought Kylo Ren to Batuu to track down Rey who he believed was helping Resistance sympathizers. 💫 ✨I truly love walking around Galaxy’s Edge at nighttime. Whether you side with the Jedi, Sith or neither, Black Spire Outpost has something for everyone. For this #midnightmonday I'm heading back to Magic Kingdom and the Extended Evening Hours. 🌛 When you see an opportunity to snap an emptyish park pic, you've gotta take it! Main Street at night is SO pretty! (Keep reading for my review of Extended Evening Hours if you're interested 😁) If you know me, you know I absolutely love my value resorts, so this was our first time doing the Extended Evening Hours. I also love an After Hours Event, so I had high hopes, esp b/c people talked about how dead these are. This was MUCH busier than I expected, with a ton of rides well over 30min for the whole time. Reg park guests hopped in like 5 min before close, so it took a good hour for the 75-90 min waits to go down, so essentially, you have one hour of lower-ish wait times. Also, the Peoplemover is not running during this event?! I mean, it's "free" and saved us paying $600 for After Hours tickets, so I'll take it, but I def won't go in expecting super low waits next time. We also did one at Epcot, which I *think* was slower, but it's so spread out there that it's hard to tell! But I especially love taking pictures here. This area is themed so well with so many details and easter eggs that it will definitely take more than a couple of visits to notice them all. Hanging out here after rope drop in the morning is one of my favorite times to visit Galaxy’s Edge. It’s not as crowded around this time so you can hear all the many sounds and beeps of creatures, ships and machines. ✨Batuu at night time is a whole other vibe! As you enter from the west side of Galaxy’s Edge, the beautiful lights that hang all throughout Black Spire Outpost give such a bright golden glow so inviting, you have to stop by the marketplace. STAR WARS SPIRIT WEEK I am so excited for this! Thank you @shanestreetelectricalparade and @ever.after.adventures for hosting! Today is #MidnightMonday and this picture is my favorite, Darth Maul, from the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular nighttime show in 2018. We were able to stand in the handicapped viewing area and it was one of the most peaceful fireworks experiences I’ve ever had. I loved this show so much but I only got to see it once. There’s nothing like a nighttime cruise around Crescent Lake in a Friendship boat 🌚⭐️⛴️ 🖤 I thought this pic of Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool from the back of the boat was a perfect choice for #midnightmonday. 📸 But honestly, pictures don’t do this area justice!
