【🌖𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓】 𝑯𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒆 have lost their hearts for a few hundreds years by now. When Mongolians rode their horses down to the heartland of China and defeated Han Chinese of Song Dynasty in 1279, the defeat was endurable, less than 100 years. Then Zhu Yuanzhang fought back and founded Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), only later to be defeated by another tribe on their horses: Manchuria. Ancient Han Chinese were very paradoxical: competitive and even cruel among their own people but generous towards others. Rarely asking for credits, always willing to share. For instance, do you know why traditional Korean costumes largely resemble the costumes of Ming Dynasty? That’s because Korean Peninsula had been China’s vassal state for 2100 years, ever since Han Dynasty in the 3rd century BC, till Qing Dynasty’s defeat by Japan in 1895. The pathetic reality is that once South Korea was freed from Japan and latched on superpower America after WWII, became modernised before China and achieved economic growth, some South Korean academics began to fabricate claims that many aspects of Chinese culture originated from Korea, including the traditional costumes, Confucius, and Xi Shi (one of Four Beauties of ancient China). They even tried to apply for UNESCO listings to take Chinese cultural heritage as their own. But how can you twist common sense? Even the national flag of SK🇰🇷 contains Yin Yang & Bagua symbols directly from Chinese Taoism. Maybe those SK scholars were torn between inferiority complex and feeling ashamed of witnessing the fall of Han Chinese culture that was connected with SK culture through an umbilical cord. Well, at least it is OK to take the fall personally, because: The fall of Han Chinese culture is an embodiment of all great cultures’ fall.
