Quel est mon secret pour demeurer constante dans la consécration et éviter les pièges courants de ma génération ? Comment discerner le mal derrière certaines invitations telles que « Week-end entre filles » ? Comment rester consacré malgré les épreuves de la vie qui peuvent nous fragiliser ou ouvrir la porte à l’ennemi ? La force mentale ? Je ne le crois pas. Voici donc mon secret qui me maintient dans la consécration : - La crainte de Dieu et la passion pour Dieu. Lorsque tu aimes passionnément Dieu et que tu as une crainte sincère de l’Éternel, le Saint-Esprit le sait et te fera grâce. Il te maintiendra dans la consécration, que tu sois en France ou à l’étranger, au travail ou à la maison, en hiver ou en été, en bonne santé émotionnelle ou en détresse, en force spirituelle ou en état de relâchement. 🌻Consecration Leads To Deeper Deliverance and Healing! 🌻Deliverers Need Deliverers! 💛As I have been back home, I have been crying out to Jesus, who is taking me through another level of repentance, sanctification, and purification. I can tell you I don’t like it at all. When I read through the entire book of Judges, I realized that every time God raised a deliverer, it was due to humanity returning to idolatry and adultery against him. The Lord was revealing places in my heart deeply embedded where I have turned my back to Jesus out of the Godhead due to deep-rooted pain/trauma suppressed. 💛Jesus began to reveal to me my prideful heart of not depending on him and those he sent to minister to me to bring a greater level of healing and freedom. The Lord has been exposing things in me that have me crying on my face and saying Lord Jesus, I need you because my life is a mess, my heart is a mess, and if I’m honest with you Jesus, I feel a way towards you concerning my process. This has led me to embark on a new pursuit of who Jesus truly is and how to make him Lord over every area of my life. 💛It has led to the understanding a consecrated life is to expose, reveal, and heal hidden sins and behaviors that keep you out of alignment with the destiny, purpose, and identity that Jesus has called to be in him. I share all of this to say as one called a deliverer/healer, I also need deliverers to help me overcome through tearing down and uprooting strongholds, deep/suppressed trauma, pain, rejection, and fears. This ongoing journey of deliverance and inner healing is possible through a consecrated life that exposes what is in you that needs to be removed and keeps you from living a set-apart life for Jesus! CHARACTER BUILDING FOR ETERNITY But the day is coming, and it is close upon us, when every phase of character will be revealed by special temptation. Those who remain true to principle, who exercise faith to the end, will be those who have proved true under test and trial during the previous hours of their probation, and have formed characters after the likeness of Christ. It will be those who have cultivated close acquaintance with Christ, who, through his wisdom and grace, are partakers of the divine nature. But no human being can give to another, heart-devotion and noble qualities of mind, and supply his deficiencies with moral power. We can each do much for each other by giving to men a Christlike example, thus influencing them to go to Christ for the righteousness without which they cannot stand in the judgment. Men should prayerfully consider the important matter of character-building, and frame their characters after the divine model. Going on a long social media break just to seek the Lord and consecrate myself for what’s coming…. Are you feeling led to do that too? Personally, I believe May is a time for deep self-intercession because the battles ahead are going to shake our core (and greatly BLESS US!) Prayer warriors, I know how much of a giver you are. You contend more for others than yourself…but this time, I believe the Lord is saying it’s YOUR TURN. I feel this so strongly as I’ve been immersing myself in prayer. The world is getting more chaotic but just be still and know that He is God. The battle is the Lord’s! On another note, I believe the Lord is taking an inventory of our heart posture (not what we’ve done). God is also dealing with heart issues such as accusations, rejection, offense, false unity, and jealousy in the body of Christ. Do not allow negativity to take root in your heart. Let’s choose mercy and forgiveness. May our relationships refine our character and mature us in love. Stay faithful, admit your mistakes, be humble before the Lord, and keep your heart pure. Let God defend and vindicate you. Lastly, move in silence. We don’t need affirmation from anyone. It is 63 years ago today that Guildford Cathedral was consecrated by God at the hand of his servant George Reindorp, 5th Bishop of Guildford. Although this was three years before the completion of the building, it marked the culmination of a vision which emerged in 1927 as the Diocese of Guildford was born from within the historic Diocese of Winchester. Guildford Cathedral is a place of prayer, reflection, work and celebration, held in particular affection by the many thousands of people who helped build it by buying a brick. There is much to offer to visitors and to those who are looking for a church community to call home. These was Discourse™ over on Threads in the past days about plant materia that are used for cleansing, appropriation, ethical harvest and over harvesting. While I chimed in with my hot takes, I want to come here and maybe give you some tips on herbs and other plant materia, you can reliably and ethically use for cleansing, consecration, and other generic magical uses as incense. All of these you can probably source either for cheap or for free outside and with low to no impact on the environment, especially if you are in Europe: - Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) - herb and flowers - Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) - herb and flowers - Common rue (Ruta graveolens) - herb and flowers - Pine (Pinus silvestris) and other conifers - needles, wood and resin. To harvest resin, look for existing injuries on the tree, these resin had dried on the bark. - Garden sage (Salvia officinalis) - herb and flowers - St.John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) - herb and flowers - Lemon (Citrus limon) - peels and juice - Most kitchen spices (rosemary, thyme, cloves, all spice, pepper, bay leaves, cinnamon) - Any minty herb (Mentha spp.,) and camphorous plants. - Eggs and sulfurous foods like garlic. - Salt - For more consult your intuition, the plant guides, common sense and literature. Please harvest herbs in the wild modestly with the future survival of the plant in mind. You can buy these at any store, supermarket that offers them, you do not need to buy them from esoteric shops. In honour of this occasion, sung Eucharist by our Girl Choristers and Lay Clerks will feature former organist Philip Moore's commissioned work (commissioned by the Guildford Cathedral Choir Association) 'Veni creator spiritus' - 'Come, Holy Spirit' - as this Cathedral is dedicated to the Holy Spirit. The mass setting is sung in the key of G and was composed by Mozart - it is a lively, decorative setting, reminiscent perhaps at points of the horses of the Viennese Spanish riding school!
