Legs are gassed have to focus on core rotation to drive the upper body. 2 sprints upper body only airdyne 30s. 45s rest in between. Upper body is gassed but legs have recovered time to gas em out again...and again...and again...until we hit 30+ minutes of this circuit. Today were doing long form circuits. Every set was 30 minutes worth of work (roughly 7 songs) No reps counted just flow. Focus is on building volume with advanced skill based drills. 1st circuit 2 x 135lbs zercher squat. 2 pullups 2s hold 5s negative. 2nd circuit 5 sissy squats. 2 x 95lbs dead overhead press. 3rd circuit. 2 x 61lbs windmill press 5 Australian pullups. Everytime I get my heart rate up into an anaerobic state my stomach starts to tighten. I'm feeling discomfort when I press around then area of my diaphragm. Still wanted to workout so worked on building volume while keeping the heart rate down. Each movement is done for 3 songs roughly 12-15 minutes with a 8s rest in between each rep. 1 Pullup 2 Sissy squats to 2 pistols. 2 Dips. 2 pike press. 2 x 95lbs overhead dead press. Thankful I could get into a flow without my stomach seizing. Haven't trained for a week. Got hit with a bacterial infection in my digestive tract. I've been feeling nauseous and fatigued since I got back from Thailand. Dealing with constant pain in my stomach isn't something that I thought I would be dealing with at the start of 2024. Lost weight, but here we are. I always tell clients there is always something you can do. Laying a small rock overtime can build mountains. Still feel like ugh from the past few days but need to move. Combination of mild fever, stomach pains, fatigue, and jet lag. In usual Cedric fashion once I get going I tend to push the hardest when I'm feeling lazy and ugh. 30 minutes. 20 x med ball hit burpees. 1 song jump rope. Burped a bunch. ALL NASAL WORK.
