I really enjoy practicing hearth witchery because it’s a very practical magic. I also think it’s a great exercise in creativity to look at your day-to-day chores and activities and ponder “How can I make this more magical?”
It’s probably not high on most folks’ list of spells to craft magic for washing one’s hands-but think about how many times each day you do this one simple thing. Why not infuse it with magic and intention?!

My intention in bringing these two plant allies together in this piece of magic is to cleanse negative energy, raise vibrations, and protect the mind from invasive energies. Simply by pausing to inhale the aroma of the plants while lathering gives me a moment to engage with their magic, and allows me to extend it to my family as well.
