Elle had a really great day. She talked and laughed and ate and watched tv. It was good to see her smiling! This is probably the best “day” she’s had since the beginning of February. It’s hard to believe that she’s been sick for almost two full months. A good day is what she needed. Unfortunately, nights are hard for her. She gets jittery and agitated. Once again, we’re doing what awe can to make her comfortable in the evenings so she’s able to stay calm and let herself relax. Due to the long covid, she’s developed tremors in her arms/hands/legs sometimes her whole body shakes and she just can’t stop which upsets her even more. She had an eval from pt and ot and she’ll have home health for skilled nursing in addition to OT/PT when we head home. I’m not sure when that will be, but we’re hoping it will be by the weekend. We’re also working on getting her in to the long Covid clinic and Vanderbilt.
