I had a few days away from work this weekend as we celebrated this chap turning 5. When did my youngest child get to the ripe old age of 5?! We had a lovely weekend (despite yesterday’s rain) and I think he was pretty happy with everyone’s efforts for his birthday but I still can’t quite get my head around it. I’ve spoken to a fair few people recently about how tough I’ve found the last 8 months since he started school. I’ve spent the last 10 years growing, sustaining and caring for these four human beings who are beginning to make their own way in the world. HOW is it MAY already?! 😱 Anyone else feeling this? 1/3 of 2024 is already GONE! HOW is your year going? Have you managed to achieve any of your GOALS so far? What do you have planned that excites YOU? My business this year has been pretty strong. I am achieving my goals & have a lot to look forward to. Building my business & relationships is my focus this year & I am excited to be travelling more. I am working on being able to do this without it effecting my health & family life. Haven’t quite mastered that yet but getting there. 🙏🏼 This is an industry that is very exposed. You get comments like “wow you’re doing so well” or “what are you doing differently?!” What are they really saying? Does it matter?🤷🏻♀️ The answer is pretty simple - I’m just doing what I love, have the right people around me & I’m blocking out the white noise. I’m no different to anyone else doing a good job in their field. I’m not saving lives I’m selling houses. Don’t be fooled! It’s not all sunshine & rainbows!! When I hit a tough time professionally or personally I try to remind myself 2 things; “It’s only temporary” and “It could be better but it could also be worse” Sometimes you literally need to “stop & smell the roses” 🌹 so I literally take some time to reflect and get myself right. Tune into your body & your intuition - it knows you best! Why do I share this? What is my message? 🤔 I’m not sharing to boast or prove anything. In addition to Real Estate, Mental health awareness is something I am passionate about. So this is my way of checking in even if it only helps one person. There’s nothing wrong with giving yourself a pat on the back when you’re feeling good or find a reason to pat yourself on the back there’s always something good about you.
