The Eastern Cape boasts some of the most spectacular beaches and you will see why when you walk the Kleinemonde beaches! 👣 Walk 1 - Clayton’s Rocks (5km) Facing the sea, turn left and walk for 2,5km until you come to a large group of rocks blocking the beach. Commonly known as Clayton’s Rocks, you haven’t gotten all the way to them unless you touch the rocks with your feet! Best done at low tide, but manageable at high tide too. 👣 Walk 2 - Great Fish River Light house (approx 10km) If you are feeling adventurous (and have packed water and sunscreen!) you can make you way past Clayton’s rocks and continue on to the Lighthouse. This is a more challenging walk which may require shoes at some point. 👣 Walk 3 - Stink Bay (approx 1 km) Getting its name from the strong seaweed smell on this stretch of the beach, you get to Stinking bay by turning right when facing the sea. Once you approach the bay, depending on the amount of seaweed that has washed up, you will definitely know you’ve reached it! 👣 Walk 4 - The Three Sisters (approx 7km) This walk is a favourite and definitely deserves its own post! Pass Stinky Bay (highly recommend at low tide) and continue on until you see the sisters. You can’t miss them! Have you done any of these walks?
