🩷🐶🩷 In a week’s time it will be a year since we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Daisy. In her memory and to mark this first anniversary, I would like to fundraise again for The Underheugh Ark Rescue, a local animal charity close to our hearts. My aim is £100 and in order to try to do this I’ve been very busy crocheting 20 cotton scrubbies to sell at £5 each + £1.15 2nd class UK postage. Use them to wash in the shower and bath, or to clean the pots at the kitchen sink! They’re approx 9 cm in diameter, fit nicely into the palm of your hand and have a hanging loop, see pic 3. I know how important donations are to this charity at the moment as they’re trying to raise funds to buy 2-3 new stables at a cost of £3,908 each! Feeling **pretty** pleased with myself over here🤗 After many different attempts to find a good way of displaying the amazing (and, yup, woman made, in MA!) lip balm by @beebalmco I came to the conclusion that my options were: - to buy a lovely, but over-budget, custom made wood display rack from etsy - sign up for a woodworking class myself - accept a visually unappealing box, -or- - accept a user-unfriendly display, where the lip balms fall over domino-style a few times an hour..... ....until I repurposed this great cardboard packaging that the delicious mixers by @woodstovekitchen shipped in and found this very free, very functional, and very YES! style solution!
