We planten amandelbomen en bouwen nestkasten om hun leefgebied te verbeteren. 🐸 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗴 De Lemur Leaf Frog was ooit te vinden in ons reservaat, maar wordt nu met uitsterven bedreigd door habitatverlies en een dodelijke schimmel. Gelukkig is er bij een andere Costa Ricaanse natuurorganisatie succes geboekt met de herintroductie van het dier. Door kikkerpoelen aan te leggen, kunnen we hun habitat herstellen en willen we deze bijzondere kikker terugbrengen naar ons reservaat. Actividad de los estudiantes del Grado en Ingeniería en Diseño Industrial y Desarrollo de Productos. Los estudiantes de Tecnologías de Medio Ambiente y Sostenibilidad del Grado en Ingeniería en Diseño Industrial y Desarrollo de Productos realizaron una salida a Monte Pavón con la Fundación Foresta, en la que les explicaron las estrategias de reforestación que están siguiendo, la importancia de la conservación de la biodiversidad y la relevancia del monte verde en la gestión de las masas forestales (y la protección que suponen en el caso de incendios). La actividad se relaciona con varias de las competencias de la asignatura, pero fundamentalmente a la de compromiso social y sostenibilidad. Chako Zanzibar 🌿 Ein ganz tolles Projekt hat die TUI Fundation ins Leben gerufen 😍 Die TUI Care Foundation und das Sozialunternehmen Chako (auf Deutsch: ,,Deins”) haben sich zusammengetan, um zu einem saubereren Sansibar beizutragen 🙏 Über 5.000 kg Plastik und 1,8 Millionen kg Glas wurde bereits recycelt ♻️ Für die Plastik Upcycling-Station werden jährlich 550.000 Tonnen Plastik gesammelt – das sind über 20% des Plastikmülls auf der Insel 😮 Hier wurde aus der Not eine Tugend gemacht.
