Мне кажется, за пару лет, что Бопчик теряет зрение, мы очень сильно укрепили связь. Он научился доверять и слушать, а мы направлять и создавать предсказуемость. И у меня сердце в клочья иногда от его безусловного доверия. Favorite quips from The Best, so far. I hope there are more and more for years to come. "Like hell I am." (Pretty much anything she is not thoroughly convinced she should do.) She told me she was horrible at math, but she darn well knew how to count money. Bill the owner taught her. Carhopping, the drive-in, was her sanctuary. She is right, women, moms, do better work than alphabet agencies, especially when it comes to their kids or errant husbands. I’ve been told by an agency friend I missed my calling, noticing details. He and I would work well together. Once during an especially interesting case, as she was returning home driving Palo Duro Canyon, her brakes and power steering just POOF quit working. Fortunately, she was able to pull over for help. It was determined her car had been tampered with and she was a very lucky lady. (I'm sure you are aware, but I'll tell you just in case you have been under a rock: Texas politics are ruthless, cutthroat.) She was on to someone, a crooked someone. Eventually they paid the fiddler for all the illegal dancing they had been part and parcel of. "If I wanna use a cuss word I use it. Trust me you will learn." She made me laugh, always makes me laugh. I'd apologized for cursing, that's when she dropped these pearls of wisdom. (I tried not to curse when raising my kids and overall did a pretty good job, even during their teenage years. These days I work on keeping my mouth clean. Cursing is unbecoming for a Southern lady. I try to behave; it is not easy.) "You have lived a fascinating life." "Oh, I don't know about that. I guess it's been a good life. I was married three times. I loved ‘em all when I married ‘em. Or I was in heat." I nearly fell on the floor laughing. I love her so much. Her sense of humor and wit are second to none. Family.

I put on a TONNE of weight. 💔 Struggling with my mental health and shame I stepped right back from my career, declined interviews, permanently deleted my well established Facebook and hid away to heal. In recent years, any public appearances I had to make for work were ARDUOUS. It took EVERYTHING I had to take photos because I felt SO ASHAMED about my loss of control over my body (and YES I have to take pics when promoting films as per my contracts). In tribute, I’m sharing a fun piece I did a few years back (part of a larger set I did for all the films) inspired by the classic #atari game #pitfall which I spent countless hours playing while humming the #indianajonestheme in my head. Such a classic film! I have vivid memories of watching it in the theater. As one of the key movies that inspired the #pg13rating many theaters had warned parents of a certain scene.
