Rome was built atop history; Romulus established it in 753 BC, or 2,776 years ago.Augustus was the first Roman emperor. I was aware of Rome’s vastness before I traveled there; it would take about a week to fully investigate the city’s history and environs—just a few hours to tour the Roman Forum, for example. There were hundreds of cats roaming around the Curia of Pompey Rome, where Julia Ceasar worked, an area I had never seen so many cats in Rome. One of the greatest gladiators to battle in the Colosseum was Flamma, a Syrian. It was a pretty spot with different areas to enjoy drinks and food both outdoors and indoors. You can see the sunset a bit and they had live music as well. The menu is not super extensive but I loved my cocktail drink. 🔆Unfortunately customer service was not the best. Noone came and even after we flagged them down, we waited almost an hour just to get a drink order. They stated they were busy. I was very disappointed. I dunno...maybe you may have a better experience. 🚕Directions: From Piazza del Popolo, walk towards the west on Via Ferdinando di Savoia till you arrive to Ponte Regina Margherita bridge but dont cross the bridge.
