I’m…..actually…..FINISHED!!!!! Seriously, I started this drawing all the way back in January, got sidetracked with teaching, adopting a puppy, and adjusting to life with three pets overall, and practically 5 months later I’m finally done! This is a portrait of Ray Wise as Leland Palmer, based on a photo taken by his costar Richard Beymer, and I thought it would adapt excellently to my current shadow emphasis. If anyone were to want this as their own, I don’t think I’d want to part with it for less than $175, and even then I still think I’d want to ask for more. 4+ years ago, I randomly started drawing Karloff’s Frankenstein’s Monster, to kill time when I still worked in a writing center. I started the fiery and aquatic colors just a little bit, but I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do with it, so I put it on the back burner for a good while. Fortunately, @jessweed11 always saw potential in it and would periodically remind me to finish it sometime! This one’s definitely for her (so I guess technically I’m keeping it, too 🙃) and she’ll pick where we have it in the house.
