I wasn't sure if I was going to keep my reservation but decided after the crazy week I had a few hours at the park with dinner and fireworks is just what I needed ❤️ I know not everyone is a fan of Mickeys Mux Magic but I love it! Check out my highlights for clips 😉 I then had one of my favorite meals from alien pizza planet, took advantage of a photo pass photographer that had no line, and when the clock struck midnight it was time to go home... I was on the hunt for the hydrangea spirit jersey and the bag/ears that went with it and I was glad to come across them all (the ears unexpectedly) during my visit. Overall, it was a great evening to reset after a tough week. Character dining experience for brunch today! Easily the highlight of my pre-birthday solo day. I was super lucky that I happened to check the app for last-minute slots when I woke up. I wasn't expecting to make a reservation at all!! Thanks for the Disney gift card, which covered this @ms_serapheena ❤️ How apropos, since you are a big fan of character dining! I felt like a VIP when the chef came out to plan out my vegan meal. He brought me the allergy-friendly Mickey waffles, which are fine when fresh, house potatoes, and a loaded tofu scramble. I picked out fruit and hot @joffreyscoffeeandtea coffee from the buffet. To be frank, this is a one-and-done for me, and I am grateful I used a gift card to pay for this experience. That atmosphere, characters, and cast members were all fantastic! The food, I've made better at home. Oh, bother! Does anyone else get anxious around characters and typically avoid interactions like this? I thought it would be different this day, LOL!! I wanted to meet my childhood favorites who would appreciate my Pooh bound. While I watched from the line as mild Eeyore walked away to be replaced with rambunctious Tigger, I told myself it would be alright. I was even excited. Well, Tigger was Tigger!! In my frantic anticipation for the interaction, I left my phone on the ledge, thinking it was a Photo Pass op. It took me a second to realize the handler was pretending to take pictures with his hands! I quickly laughed- apologized, and grabbed my phone. This little session felt awkward, and in the end, I sheepishly said, "Thank you for your time, Tigger!" Like, WTF, Daisy?? 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 In reply to one of my stories that day, I got some super supportive words of advice from Minnie ear crafter @jazzytig21 : "Oh no! Tigger is that character! I'm sorry you felt awkward. Next time tell the handler. They are pretty good about prepping the characters. I think because of your pooh bound they thought you'd be ok. When I'm with my niece who is anxious, I tell the person with them or go into the mouth and say my niece is nervous, be very gentle." Maraming salamat, Jazzy! Me date ❤️ I rope dropped in Tomorrowland and needed to re-caffeinate in Toontown. This coldbrew from Cafe Daisy deserves to be mentioned. Currently, the beans used for the coldbrew are a caramel-flavored @joffreyscoffeeandtea blend. At first sip, I was caught off guard and actually panicked a bit, thinking there might be dairy in it. I went back to the window to explain that I ordered a black cold brew. The cast member assured me it was just the caramel flavor from the beans. Whew! Quick story time behind the making of this picture: I had a solo half day at EPCOT before I had to get to work. And I love going to see the characters and snagged a fastpass for this. I love that Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy are all in one spot. My little one was with her grandmother and I wanted to facetime them but technology was against us. Well when I tried with Goofy he saw my screensaver for my lockscreen was a picture of my little one and Mickey. He didn't like that and insisted he be my new screensaver for my lockscreen. Thus, this picture was born! And I will forever love this picture because it was one of my favorite character greets!
